With all the influx of Matthew Perry information in the past few days I have yet to hear a single bad thing about this man, even from all his exes. That says a lot, he was a gem.

If only he'd realized he was enough, was good enough, instead of being so hard on himself! It's beyond sad how his father abandoned him and his mother was too young to realize her child needed counseling.

@grumpycat2489 - Hmmm, I'd say all the serial womanising, ie breaking off perfectly good relationships with wonderful women (just as he himself accused himself of), would have been his biggest flaw. For someone as smart as he was, the constant "moving on" was an unexplainable, but huge problem. A problem to himself worst of all of course, but really, just think how many loving women's hearts he broke. Rinse and repeat...and I know it wasn't because he didn't know any better. It was his lifelong battle with his addict's betrayals of those closest to him that most likely was the cause--all painfully real even if you "know better"....😢💔💔💔💔

*his disease (addiction) broke. He was just the human conduit for the devastating heartbreaks (in his women & himself) his disease always caused. So ladies, choose your loved ones/friends 😅 extremely carefully: no matter how good, smart, kind, and well-intentioned your beloved might be, run a thousand miles in the opposite direction if your loved one happens to be an addict (of anything). Turn around and run. You can't help him, and he WILL betray you. Nothing to do with your personality, you would've just been the only or closest resource for him. So that's who they will betray WHEN they slip up/relapse. Because addicts always relapse: it's the nature of the thing. The only thing they control will be the first gulp of their first drink.

Matthew perry you will be missed by millions

He was so cute! He def seemed to prefer brunettes. And judging by this vid, in spite of his issues, he seemed to be a loyal and loving boyfriend. I wish he could have found his forever lady, got married, and finally found peace and happiness. He'll be missed. ❤

From Selma Blair's reaction to his passing it seems like she really loved him and possibly was hoping they'd continue the relationship they started many years ago. So many sad things go with losing him.

There was one woman that he did not name in his book but mentioned how they dated in 1999 while working on a movie. I have wonder if he was referring to Neve Campbell.

20 year opiate addict and listening to his audiobook right aftr he died was a lot to handle. So much of what he felt resonated with me. I'm not a billionaire but I also have a life I should be happy with. But I'm only happy on drugs and being alone

The women would have had to agreed to have had kids with him too. It's not just a one way street decision to have kids. He did want kids. But the women probably didn't want to being a baby into this world with a father with a heavy drug ans alcohol problem. Those women probably preferred a husband and father to their children who did not have a drug problem. I do think he would he would have been an excellent father and a husband. But, when he cleaned himself up and became sober, which I believe he did clean up towards his later years.

He had a deep fear of commitment and sabotaged any relationship he had (from his memoir), he deeply regretted not getting married or having kids and was still hoping for this at the end of the book

I had the biggest crush on Matthew perry. It's soo sad to hear of his death 😭 I always watch friends on Netflix and now it's like wow he's not here anymore when I watch it. Very sad news! Mee too, my birthday comes in 17th August, 1999 & Matthew was born in 19th August 1969, so he was 30 years old, when I was born !!!! I really miss him.

I had such a great fear of rejection, since I was raised by two extreme narcissists that never actually cared about me & were always secretly trying to hurt me, so that I acted careless & aloof, as a way of protecting myself. I had major trust issues & was always waiting for the guy to figure out all my flaws and decide that they didn't actually like me. Many of us treat others badly because we don't know any other way.
