r/Entitledparents "SIGN OVER YOUR PROPERTY TO ME... OR ELSE!"

Комедия

r/Entitledparents In today's episode, OP has a nutty neighbor who believes that OP should just give her a huge piece of his property so that she can build a swimming pool. She demands OP to come to her house and sign over his driveway to her. When OP refuses, she says that she will take it from him with or without his help, so he may as well make it easy on everyone. And the best part: we have a voicemail! Yep, this video has a voicemail from a crazy, ranting Karen about how she deserves someone else's property.

We had someone who would come into our office on work business and if we had sweets out, he would empty the dish, filling his pockets. We spoke to him about it saying that we didn’t mind people taking a sweet or 2 when visiting the office but could he please stop taking all of them. He didn’t stop so we got some laxative sweets and added maybe 3 or 4 of them to the dish. He came in and emptied the dish again. Funnily enough that was the last time he ever took sweets from our bowl. 😂

As a piece of serious advice: Don't do that, it's called things like "administering a noxious substance" and is generally a crime. If you want to make trap food, you should always make something that you are fully willing to eat yourself, (and not just as something you are willing to choke down if called on it, but something you would actually have by choice). And no, 'he shouldn't have eaten that food' isn't a defense. What matters is that you concealed the drug in food you knew he was likely to eat.

That woman from the first story has NO legal way of getting OP's property (neither his driveway NOR his house) without him volutarily signing it off to her (which is also is not going to happen). Hell - he can trespass her from his property and if she even tries to build a pool there - he can easily call the cops on her. Seriously what was that lady on? She literally acted like she was in complete control of the situation when she has no leverage or anything on her side. She's just yelling to give her his property with no real basis at all. Seriously even if the city took a small bit of his property, what claim does this random neighbour have to his driveway without his signature which she's obviously not getting. Kinda hoping she gets thrown in jail, especially for getting personal and insulting him in every way for no other reason than her own grudge. Plus blocking off someone else's driveway is more likely to get the cops on his side rather then hers. Honestly all this could get her arrested for Harassment, Repeated Package Theft, Attempted Intimidation, and Attempted Property Theft via Bullying. Plus knowing how these people are, probably a laundry list of other more severe crimes like attempted construction without permission, and many others. Honestly kinda want the husband to give the guy his packages back too. He just needs his Karen of a wife to be arrested.

Her voicemail wasn’t just a threat, she ACTUALLY went through with construction and when OP tried to interfere, she yelled at OP AND the construction workers. They were in the process of cutting down OP’s bushes when he showed up. The workers left and the neighbor blew a gasket. Later on, OP returned to his house only to find two of his windows were broken and video footage showed the neighbor trying to kick the door down and broke the windows. There’s so much more to it but it’s absolutely insane and OP’s family is planning on moving.

@@Acrazade I have spent most of my teenage and adult life in a gym. There should be employees there dedicated to helping you use the equipment safely and effectively. Yes, you can use the equipment incorrectly and not get near the results you should get. Also, most gyms and personal trainers run specials on their expertise. It can be very beneficial to hire a personal trainer to get you started and to check you out after goals are met. I used to love working out at a gym but even the "serious" gyms are starting to allow miscreants into them. I got tired of it and built a gym in my home with just the equipment that I need since I no longer compete hardcore in athletics and I am retired from the Military so no more deployments to hot places where you get sand stuck in your buttcrack all day and night lol. My problem was being 6'7" and 265 lbs people always thought I was "someone famous" (I'm only famous to my kids lol) and would stare at me or even worse, come up to me and either try to figure out who I was or come out and ask me. I don't mind if they do that AFTER my workout, but it disrupted my train of thought and mindset while working out. When I have to travel and workout at what I call a "Prancing or Tinder Gym" (people are more concerned with looking good and flirting than working out), I hate it because people are always taking up the machines and not really working out, just socializing, and I'm not there to socialize or get hit on. I want to get in, do my workout, and get out so I can move on with the rest of my day.

That first story reminded me of my neighbor down the street. He's kinda old and has a dog who means a lot to him and is pretty much the only thing keeping him from suicide Small backstory: The dog he had before died and he didn't want to have another dog because he was so sad about it but when his current dog literally jumped into his car he couldn't resist. Story: His wife is downright *crazy*. She cheated on him behind his back and then wanted a divorce and the house! He doesn't have anywhere else to go and since he's still living there she's being an (psyco)a-hole. My mom was talk ing to him the other night and his son came up and just grabbed the dog leash out of my neighbors hand and started to take the dog away, even though it was insanely clear that the dog *did not* want to go. Then my neighbor told my mom what had been. going on and she told me: -The dog always sleeps with N (My neighbor) -They're (His wife and adult son) making the dog sleep in the wife's (W) room -A week or 2 ago the son (S) was choking N and beat him and W just stood there and did nothing! N is an elderly man and got internal bleeding from S! And the worst/saddest part, is that N won't report any of this because he loves them. If that's not loving your enemy then I don't know what is.

Also, she's the one that said I was too mature for birthday parties and would no longer do it after that day (she said that during my my 8th birthday party). Lol, as a Land Surveyor, I can assure you, this woman is beyond clueless. OP couldn't sign away his driveway if he wanted to, as law states that NO PROPERTY can be "landlocked", and MUST have an ingress/egress easement.

If that first woman keeps it up they're gonna give her a nice padded room to live in. With or without her signature.

Of course the Karen isn't living the same logic. She wants HIM to come to HER house to sign the waver, possibly to get him into automatic trouble for being on HER property and make a big fuss about it - not realizing she has been on HIS property. Good on him for not taking the bait and keeping his family safe and I hope the authorities takes this woman down because honestly, this is concerning harassment at this point.

Also second OP. They would have been banned, blocked, all of it, they wouldn’t be coming to my wedding or engagement party and sure as shit never see any grandkids. Yikes. Hope your s/o’s parents make up for it! My bf had a dead beat dad but he absolutely adores mine and vice versa!

Fuck that, I hated getting those as a kid. If you're blaming the parents, though, then I agree.
