r/Entitledparents "GIVE ME YOUR BRE*ST MILK!"

r/Entitledparents OP works at a daycare, and one of the moms gives her a few bottles of her milk to feed her young child. An entitled mother sees OP with the bottles of milk and confronts her, demanding that OP give the milk to her son. OP is confused because the entitled mother's son is 5, and why would she want another woman's milk? Still, the entitled mother is adamant and demands that the milk be shared because it's important to be fair. WTF?

I always hated the whole "if you bring x you need to bring enough to share..." umm no I don't. Nobody is entitled to food I purchased, my parents purchased for me as a kid, or what I purchase for my kid in the future when he gets to that age. Nobody is entitled to something that somebody else has, their labor, their attention, or their money. When i was growing up, I had 1 freaking jolly rancher leftover in my lunch box from the day before, I was on break (it was an indoor recess due to heavy rain) and I ate one. Some other kid asked for one and I didn't have any more, then complained to the teacher that I wasn't sharing. The teacher pulled the "you have to bring enough to share" BS and then told me i had to spit out my jolly rancher... i was about 8 at the time, so i chomped down on the jolly rancher and just swallowed it. I got written up for "defying the teachers order" and "not sharing with others." She tried to give me detention for it, until my dad showed up and the principal quickly did a 180 and decided to throw out my write up.

I have an entitled parent story for y'all: My mom walked into my room once while I was watching on of Rslash's videos, and she demanded to know who I was talking to. "I'm not talking to anyone, it's a video." I told her, trying not to be sarcastic so I don't get yelled at. Unfortunately, she did yell at me, acusing me of "having a secret boyfriend that's 20 something". Then she demanded the person I was "talking to" to stop talking and let her speak. Me being tired of her shit, I pause the video and let her rant. "Why the hell are you talking to my daughter!? (I'm her son, not like she cares) You're way too old for her! Shes going to be a doctor dont you know?!" She continues on a rant about how he shouldn't dare speak to me, bla bla bla. Meanwhile I'm sitting there, phone in hand, trying so hard not to laugh. She eventually demands Rslash to say something to her, and I unpause(edited for typo) the video just to hear the word "jerk" come from my speakers. Mom had a cow and took my phone from me and proceeded to throw it, cracking the screen in the process, all while Rslash is still reading reddit posts. I got grounded for a week, but it was so worth it!

Do you know that kind of emails that want to hire you and your job would be to receive parcels that you are supposed to just open, check their contents and then forward those packages somewhere else? Usually those offers come with a ridiculously high salary for the low amount of skill and/or effort they take, so only people who are too stupid to see the trap coming would even try to accept the job. Those job offers are basically just one part of that scam chain. You will also usually not receive anything close to the payment you were promised when you accepted the offer. I used to receive that many of those job offer emails that I once just decided to look up what that obvious scam was about. It is exactly that: you receive the items, send them to the next one in that chain, who then does the same, until the "boss" decides the chain was long enough and it can now be sent to the place he will pick it up from. OP in that story was most likely the most recent final adress and the woman picking up the parcels was most likely working for the person behind the scam and most likely one of the few who actually saw money for her job.

the pizza story reminds me of a time me and my siblings ordered pizza, our mom was getting home late so she left us some money for pizza. So we got my younger sister to answer the door and pay for the pizza (with the money our mom left us). Next thing I know my sister leaves the front entrance and is frantically looking for some money. I didn't have money, neither my brother so she had to pay out of pocket like over 5$. So when she comes back in with the pizza she was visibly upset. So we asked what happened and basically after she gave the money to the driver (which was plenty enough to cover everything and gave a small tip) the driver didn't hand my sister the pizza but held it away from her. The driver only gave her the pizza after she gave a bigger tip. Also for everyone else we weren't financially stable at the time so we had enough money to cover pizza, a drink and something extra, there was three of us who were 3 very hungry teenagers and we had to have left overs for our mom. My sister was crying but there was no way we could reach our mom since she was most likely on her way home. So we called our dad (he didn't live with us) and we explained what happened and gave the phone to my sister so he could help calm her down. After the call our dad unbeknownst to us, had stormed to the pizza place and explained what had happened and he was angry at what the driver did. Supposedly from what he said the poor girl there was scared but they were able to come to an agreement we got like some free food next time and the driver was going to have a talking too.

A few years ago we had a package, from the catalogue company "Next" delivered to us. Someone was outside our house, when we weren't in and intercepted the package from the carrier (they showed the order info from their phone to the delivery person). Well it turned out they used OUR address and and my Mum's name to scam Next out of goods, not paying for it of course and get my Mum to pay for it. They opened up a line of credit or something and used just my Mum's name and our address to open it. Well we had to phone several people, as on a different delivery by the same company was delivered to us they were surprised to find that my 60+ year old white mother. who had lived at her house since the mid 70's, wasn't a 30 year old Black man. So we had to contact the deliver company, Next themselves AND the police about this. We were told that this is relatively common now and that's the last we heard of it. I think the package story was something like this.

If the cutter "loses" the oven - as in the bases are coming out faster than they can handle it - the pizzas can back up and spend too much time in there. The oven runs so hot and are so tuned even an extra 30 seconds could burn it. The new ovens take under 5 minutes to cook. So plus a few minutes to request a remake it wouldn't significantly delay a delivery. Sounds like the store was in chaos. (Reference: I worked at Domino's Pizza Australia 1999-2005) It would have been late 2019 I went into a Domino's store during a super special day: $4 value pizzas, so I got two, so I could have leftovers the following day too. Eventually, after an extra long wait, they handed me three boxes. One base had had a bubble so there were several slices where all the toppings slid off - so they remade it and gave me the mistake one too. Because why not. Maybe that's what was supposed to happen to rslash but the driver did some malicious compliance and not wait for the remake.

Ohhhh man those pizza ones got me... I was a manager at a very large pizza chain back in 2001. I was only 19. I was working the carryout counter on a busy Saturday night and wasn't able to do to the back at all to check how things were, just trusting that my senior cooks had it together cause they were really good workers. At some point I had a lady come in who had gotten several pizzas, and it was customary to show the pizza to the customer so they could see their order before they left. When I showed the lady her pizza I could see it was burned. I immediately apologized and offered a replacement and she declined. I offered to throw in some breadsticks or a drink or a credit for another pizza and she refused. I felt terrible but she left and acted like it was all ok. All was not ok. Karen's have been around since the dawn of time, and this was my first encounter. That sweet lady who left with the pizza had a mom who evidently was not happy with the pizza and stormed into my store and THREW the pizza at me. Screamed that she knew store policies and that I'd be fired for letting something like that get out the door. That she was calling my area manager to personally tell him how terrible of a job I was doing. The lady wouldn't let me talk. After berating me for 15 or so minutes she finally left. While all this was going on I had other customers coming in who had to be cashed out by other people, which caused even more of a slow down for us on such a busy night. When she finally left I literally just sat down and cried. The pizza was still all over the floor where she'd thrown it and I had employees helping clean it up. Until that woman I never knew people could be so insensitive, cruel, and unreasonable. She did contact my boss and he took my side thankfully.

One of the daycare workers had offered to breastfeed him for her (um, excuse me?). She told her ‘No, he’s allergic to lactose. He needs to have the formula I brought for him.’ Guess what? She ignored the mother and breastfed him anyway, but not for long, as he had a severe reaction and went to the hospital. The only thing more entitled than the actions of the daycare worker were the women in the comments section who didn’t read the article and assumed it was anti breastfeeding. 😞😞😞

It is by design. At least in my experience in fraud investigations in the states, this is a common tactic for people using stolen credit cards. If there is ever a bust, having it delivered somewhere else adds one extra layer of security for the criminals. Since most places won't deliver online orders to a PO Box, picking a house where the package is likely to be safe is the next best option. When I dealt with it, they usually picked vacation homes, the homes of snowbirds, or housebound elders folks.

@@annied1827 I see where you are coming from, but that isnt the issue. The issue is the parcel lady willingly sent parcels to a random person's home. OP doesnt know the lady at all and yet the Lady seems to know that op is home all day which is really off putting. I can understand sending a parcel to a friend or family but not some random person a few minutes away

@3:19 If you get parcels delivered to you for someone you don't know the person and they come to collect it, then don't accept it. It's a trick used by many scammers. They will have a parcel delivered(most of the times money) to an address and a person will come and collect it(who sometimes will give it to someone else). They will take a share of the money and send the rest to the scammer overseas. The fact that the woman knew op always lived at home is creppy AF

The pizza story reminded me of a common scam people would pull back in the day, where they would intentionally order a pizza with a different topping, then when it arrived yell at the delivery guy that the pizza was "wrong" and demand that it get remade, by the time the second pizza gets there more than 30 passed so they get whatever the discount is. That scam left with the time limit policy because it caused unsafe driving.

ever heard of a "wet nurse"? And no, not the kind of wet nurses you see in pron. A wet nurse is a woman who breastfeeds another person's baby. Throughout history it was quite a common thing ... Before infant formula was invented, wet nursing saved countless infant lives. As you mentioned "the Lord" I am gonna assume you are following an abrahamic religion so let me tell you the bible also contains the word "nurse" quite often in both the old and the new testament. From the context it is quite safe to assume that most times the bible mentions "nurse", it is talking about a "wet nurse". The practice of wet nursing is also explicitly allowed by the qur'an. Another person's breast milk is usually neither better nore worse than the own, IF both stick to an average diet and don't consume any drugs. That said ... DEMANDING someone to basically MAKE SOMEONE ELSE the wet nurse for your FIVE year old kid is a big no go.

12:04 I had a similar thing happen but I was an employee. I worked at a fast food place. It was small and only three people including myself were on shift. We made mozzarella sticks and if you weren’t paying attention for even a second they were easy to burn. When I went to bag some mozzarella sticks for this one guys order (I think he was the only customer at the moment too) they were definitely burnt. I yelled back to the person on grill and fryers and he just shrugged. I looked at the shift lead who was trying to get the cleaning list done and said they won’t remake it unless he asks them to. My thought was, what if he doesn’t see it until he’s gone? So I went up to him, told him about the mozzarella sticks but my shift lead said he wouldn’t remake them unless he asked. So when he came up to the counter he looked through his bags probably assessing if the damage was worth it to have them remade, and he asked for them to be remade, cue the eye roll from my shift lead, but hey at least the guy got what he payed for.

I ordered a pesto pizza once from a local shop and got pretty severe food poisoning. I'd eaten from this shop very frequently before this and always had great pizza and great service, so I wasn't interested in trying to get something for nothing or even a replacement pie, I just wanted to let them know that their pesto was probably contaminated. I called up and told the person answering the phone what happened and got an incredibly snidely voiced response of "pesto can't go bad" and "you're not gonna get a refund so just stop trying" and then hung up on. Last time I ever called them, and I made sure that I told that story to as many people as would stand still to listen.

I worked at a gas station some years ago. A man brought up a hot dog container to ring up. I asked him to open it. He feigned ignorance. So I said to open it in Spanish. He gave me the same look. I reached over and opened it. It had 5 hot dogs in it. I just looked at him and said "Really???". I rang up the hot dogs and made him pay. He liked me in the eyes and said "You're a racist". I encouraged him to call corporate and complain. I always hated the "R"-Card. It was a last ditch, nuclear effort to get someone to fold to their demands.

This happened when I was a around 22 or so. I was a cook at a Pizza Hut, and we got a phone order from a very rude woman. I answered and did my whole polite shpiel and asked her what she would like. She said she wanted a large pizza with "every topping we had in our inventory". I was a little taken aback, and asked her if she meant a super supreme. She asked me if that had every topping we had, and I told her that it had almost everything. She then went off on me telling me that I must be deaf, because she wants EVERYTHING. I said fine. So I got every last thing we had as a topping. Pepperoni, sausage, beef, ham, bacon, chicken, anchovies, onions, green peppers, jalapeños, black olives, green olives, pineapple, sliced pickles, tortilla chips, cheddar cheese, salsa, BBQ beef, salami, ranch dressing, and mozzarella cheese. The thing was loaded. If you're wondering about some of those toppings we did offer a taco pizza and several different sandwiches. I knew all of that at once would make her sick, but I made it anyway. The manager was working the front, and when the pizza came out she gagged. She asked me what the hell I thought I was doing, and I explained it to her. She just nodded her head, cut the pizza, and sent it out with the driver. About an hour later we got the most abusive call the store had ever gotten. She was going completely nuclear on us about her pizza. The manager explained that she had said she wanted every single topping on her pizza so she got what she ordered. The woman was saying that she had a fish allergy and that she hated pineapple. I doubt she had the allergy as she was fine enough to call and scream at us. She eventually said she wanted to "talk to the retard who took my order", obviously meaning me. I got on the phone, and listened to her rant some more. When she took a breather, I told her that I did what she asked for and that I didn't care if she had an allergy or hated pineapple. She bitched me out when ordering and that if she was stupid enough to ask for something like that, then she was going to get exactly what she wanted, and that from then on out, she could kiss my ass. I got written up for it, but the manager said she would have told the psycho the same thing.

Guy I worked with long ago, he was about thirty, as many of us were at that age, came in to show off his new baby after about a month or two of the little pipsqueak's existence. First kid. Mom was off giggling with some of the girls elsewhere, he was chatting and beaming with another group. Kids starts balling, one of the women says "Aw, Um, I think somebody's hungry". He looks among the women gathered and asked if any of them were willing to feed him (or her? I don't remember). It turns out the guy literally thought any woman at any time could feed a baby as the need arose. Again, 30 odd years old.
