"Alpha Male" is such a misunderstood and misused word. From now on, if you come across an "alpha male of the friend group" in the wild you should ask if his friends are his kids, or how many children he has. I'm sure there's a clever joke in there somewhere. (It was originally coined by a guy studying wolves. He noticed that there was always a strong male leader...turns out that was the DAD and the "pack" was a family, lol. Once he figured that out he tried to walk it back but it didn't work.)

I used to live in Lee's Summit for a few years. Beat two traffic tickets there. One got the judge to threaten the cop with taking HIS license because he was reckless and tried to pin it on me. The other was a motorcycle cop who took so long to stow his radar gun and come after me that by the time he pulled into my driveway the car was in the garage, the keys were in the house, and I was "casually waxing the hood". He kept demanding I come out and sign his ticket. I told him I didn't know what he was talking about, but my car hadn't moved all day. And no, he couldn't come in to check the hood. I then ordered him to get his bike off my driveway and himself off my property before I had to call his captain to have him removed and prosecuted for trespassing. 🤣🤣🤣
