WHY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH…
We suffered from high-functioning loneliness and depression our whole lives. We lived different lives in different states, but when we met, we realized we were struggling with common issues that reflected an important problem in our young adult generation. We didn’t know who we were, what we were passionate about, what we should live for, and what direction our lives were “supposed” to go. We spent a lot of time wandering in search of that magical ‘answer’ that will solve all problems (like I’m sure most of you are doing right now), and yet the further we searched outside, the more pronounced the emptiness inside of us felt.
Millions of people suffer silently from mental health related issues. Yet our society still places taboos around openly talking about relevant mental health topics like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. As a result, our young adults don’t know how to talk about it constructively, where to turn to, or what resources they have to combat this real-life threat to their wellbeing.
We credit Brain Education for giving us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want...and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.

    Challenging! Very effective, felt a lot of quivering in backs of legs as the energy began to move. Shoulders very sore but breathed out and got through it. One to do daily, now along with all the other great exercises you teach. My body is very grateful for these videos 🙏🏻💚

    My 65 year old legs are very tight. Lower back not so much. I feel it in my shoulder and arms. But energy feels great! I am going to practice more and work on stretching the backs of my legs. Have a wonderful day! Thank you for sharing.

    Back feels fine. Shoulders on the other hand, are NOT happy! Definitely feel heat buildup, though. Great simple way to strengthen the kidneys. Thank you!

    Begin doing this daily for about 2 weeks now and can really feel the muscles in my lower back becoming more ‘elastic’ and, as they do so, the movement produces more heat in the abdomen and more calmness in mind.     I can't optimally do that forward back pushing due to muscles tightness. I then change the position to standing position on a stool with maximum forward bending. Which is basically the same with the original one but now gravity helps me a lot. The result is I feel much better. Instead of back muscle ache, I feel my back is very relaxed after the movement. Though I'm not sure how my kidneys and their meridians respond to it.

    I'm a bit confused as when I engage my lower back for this exercise my body simply doesn't move like yours. In fact if I try and imitate you in this I seem to end up just hinging forward with my upper back and bending at the mid-point. Shall I just continue to push with my lower back and not worry as to what I look like?

    Very fortunate to find this video. I’m of Vata dominant energy. I’ve been doing this workout 3 days in now. I haven’t been able to feel the heat generating in my lower body area.     I felt a slight urge to cry while I was doing this and so grateful that you reminded not to give up (despite the pain). When I lay down afterwards some tears came and some sadness. I had been doing backbends in my yoga practice today so quite an alignment to do this for the first time. I feel that my spirit is slowly awakening through the practices offered by your channel and I am healing. Thank you and bless you! ps.
