I bought several large pie pumpkins last year, cooked them & froze a majority of it. I'll have to get some out of the freezer for this recipe. YUM! 😍 That looks delicious!

My mom found a recipe, in a magazine yrs ago, for pumpkin bars, and, you make a cake, like a sheet cake, and, you add pecans and, raisins to the mix. You then, just bake the cake, then, when, it cools you frost cream cheese icing on top. I am so, craving all these pumpkin desserts but, I can’t eat nothing with pumpkin in it. I am stocking upon cans of pumpkin so, come Mid November, I can eat all the pumpkin desserts till my hearts content. Oh, I can smell the wiffs of that baked pumpkin smell, it’s driving me nuts. Finally Chemo is supposed to start Wednesday! Thanks for sharing Tammy and God Bless!

Eat what ever you can during chemo. I lived on creme soups for weeks. If you can eat pumpkin eat it !

I never ever ever use baking spray when I bake I use Wilton baking liquid because I don't like when the spray gets the liquid all over your cake when you're baking it and that's all you taste try that and see how you like it I swear by it for that size pan you would probably need about four five squirts and then using a pastry brush just go around the bottom and the sides and I just swear by it does not rip your cake or anything

Sure you can, I would omit the icing

I would prefer making this recipe before making a pumpkin roll. They are difficult to make. I love anything pumpkin. You did a beautiful job decorating this pecan pumpkin bar. If looks delicious. 🎃🍞😋

Oh, Tammy!!! That Pumpkin Cake is just wonderful!! Everyone can tell that your mother taught you well when it comes to cakes. You are a cake queen! Is it possible that you could put some old pictures of your mother's cakes up there? That would be really cool to see. She is looking down from Heaven with pride for her Tammy!
