Fellow Beyond Type 1 spokeswoman Dr. Apoorva Gomber invited me to Bangalore, India for the World Congress of Diabetes India, and a surprise. What I thought was a casual gathering of people living with type 1 diabetes from all across India turned into the establishment of a new non-profit called the Diabetes Foundation of India.
Thank you to everyone who welcomed me in for such an incredible day. One thing I love is seeing how much dance is naturally part of any type of celebration here.

I want to make a bowl with video ideas and grab one out each week. The backlog of stories is insane. But mission accomplished if there is a nurse smiling for a moment. Woah, blood sugar is low and that was surprisingly hard to type.
