Thank you to my new Indian fans for all the questions - you all rock
My name is Erik and I have been in Southern India since the day after Christmas, 2019. We are now 61 days into the national lockdown where I have decided to stay in Bangalore, India. I answer questions about my lost passport, visa updates, diabetes supplies, filming advice, and pretty much don't answer where the next destination will be...
The diagram of "where's next?"
1) USA: Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington D.C.
2) Chiang Mai, Thailand; Phuket, Thailand; Nha Trang, Vietnam; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
3) Copenhagen, Denmark; Berlin, Germany; Amsterdam, Netherlands; London; Ireland

Hey Erik! I have some travel/adventure envy going on as I follow your films. Awesome work! Thanks for sharing and letting the rest of us live vicariously through you ... Meagan (from Ontario slipstream and you got me psyched to start Looping).

Hey Meagan! Will you go this year if the slipstream gets the green light?! Yes! I’m going to put on some webinars soon about Looping to get people psyched. Took off my last CGM so now need to loop vicariously through others

Just an hour ago i was wondering if you actually made progress on getting your passport, and I see your new vlog. I hope this long time in india has helped you learn a lot about yourself cause I always admire ppl who move out of their comfort zones to explore the world or do things differently it always helps you understand youself more than the journey itself. Have loved watching your vlogs and have learnt more about ppl dealing with diabetes. Lots of love and respect. Hope you get to be with your family ASAP.

Jaya and I should sit in front of the camera and talk about India and America differences. My parents encourage me to be independent since I was a young kid so being away feels normal. I will say having a family here means a lot since dealing with all of this alone would be overwhelming, plus we have a lot of fun. Thank you for all of your warm wishes!

Are the trains running again to New Delhi? It strikes me that you might not be able to board even a domestic flight abroad with just a state issued ID. Something to be aware of.

You can board a domestic flight with an ID (according to people I asked.) Trains/planes are slowly opening up but also lots of questions around quarantine upon arrival and stuff like that. It’s why I’m trying to get my passport down here

@@ErikDouds good to hear. I know NJ ID can't be used for domestic flights within the states anymore due to lack of security features but sounds like they might be a little more lax in India. Wanna get you back in one piece!

Believe me erik queen Elizabeth gets her mangoes from the orchards of the descendants of the nizam in Hyderabad and among the 300 types there's only a single one that's sent Ps:- wearing a rupa frontline (vest) definitely makes you get 1/3 rd of Indian habits😝😝

Being in tropical region we have better opportunities for vegitations. Climate and soil both promote varieties in India and agriculture being biggest source of earning also increases competitiveness in market to produce variety for sales.
