We were college mates. There were only 5 of us who were very close friends. We used to have fun together. I still remember we used to sneak into college for free wifi. But I never thought of him as IAS. We both had back paper in one paper in 1st semester in civil engineering. Believe me he wasn't much of a topper guy. He was just like a normal average guy. But there was this quality of him, it seemed like he was aware of everything. He was always curious about everything. He always had answers to our questions. I always knew he would do good in future. I thought he would be a junior engineer/ assistant engineer or maybe crack state public services, but boy oh boy, was I shock to find him as IAS

First of all congratulations to Richard Yanthan. Hi, I was also a RAUS IAS student during 2017-18 batch and i m currently working in the Tripura Civil service.I feel proud to be part of Raus ias and i always suggest to go for Raus Ias whoever goes for coaching in Delhi. My humble request from your platform if possible for sharing his personal number. So that i can get valuable information and boost my motivation regarding upsc. Thank you
Congratulation ! You are the great son of Nagas . So proud of you as well as you are one of the most blessed person . Wishing you bright future .
Trust me, it's so tough that even brilliant candidates (not all, but most) make it to the list in their third or fourth attempt and if you are able to crack it in your second attempt, and that too with an AIR of 133, just believe that you are extraordinary.
We the Nagas are so proud of you 🙏

Hats off bro congrats. What I feel and think and have been asking myself all this year's is that this guys study so long and work hard so that they Excell what they want to become and then go through so much to achive, then why not have good Genuine political person working with them. Don't you guys think after the election are don't with why don't the elected members also go through interviews or a simple G.K preliminary round for taking care of a state or a country.
Congratulations hats off.. Sir

Congratulations Sir, u made it...to all the aspirations who are working hard keep up the momentum until you succeed but an advice to other aspirants who are half hearted, who are not sincere in their studies, please look for other avenues for your future career, UPSC is not a changing goal post scenario type career..it requires rigorous hard working and testing. Only fraction among lakhs of aspirant will be selected for the coveted civil services.

Why do we need coaching to become an administrator... this is just not a sport but it seems more of a business for those who can afford

Its like asking why should we need schools to be an ideal candidate for anything. There is nothing wrong to get guidance to achieve in this competitive world . And not everybody who joins coaching gets through, only the best ones who can be an administrator after some final garnishing.
