i have the same setup.i used 8740 arp bolts and im hoping to make 800rwhp.do you think 8740 rod bolts will be strong enough.also diamond gas ported pistons

800 whp is probably pushing those rod bolts. But, that is a difficult question to answer because there are several variables to consider. To answer your question: Yes, I would run the combo if that is what I had. If you are concerned or need a piece of mind you can always purchase the rod bolts separately.
I’m building a 5.0 stroker with same kit but on an iron block. Do you recommend king or clevite for main bearings?

I prefer King, not that Clevite is bad. Just don't get the cheap versions of each brand.

@@98SVTLanier Aluminum Teksid 4.6 blocks were used in 96-99 Mustang Cobra. Use King PN: MB5283 Aluminum WAP 4.6 blocks were used in 2001 Cobra and 05-10 Mustang GT. Use King PN: MB5283 Romeo Iron Block 4.6 was used in 96-98 and 01-04 GT. Use King PN: MB5353 Windsor Iron Block 4.6 was used in 00-01 GT. Use King PN: MB5280

@@98SVTLanier The part numbers can be a little confusing but the center 5283 will be the same. If there is a 0.25 in the PN then they are for .010 under journals.

Thank you again. My 98 cobra hydrolocked so went with the Romeo iron block and Manley 5.0 stroker. Videos and information help more than you know
