Hey man, what is that book that you're reading on as you build this engine?

It’s technically not for Stroker motors, but install process is the same for both. Jeep 4.0 Engines: How to Rebuild and Modify (Workbench How-to) a.co/d/dDjIoS8

I wonder if I need to update the link. My pistons are floating and rods are brass bushing upgraded

Just a little advice. Never spin the crank without all the main caps torqued. As the bearings are not truly round until they get torqued down.

I appreciate the advice- I'm always learning. I figured I couldn't do too much damage, just spreading the assembly lube. Thanks!

@@motolayne I use to do the same thing. I use to be freinds with the guy in my town that has his own engine shop in my town and he told me when you get bearings there alittle egg shaped until the saddles and caps are torqued that's why you take readings when there torqued down.

It makes sense- same as the cylinder bores before the head is torqued. I’ll keep in mind for future builds.

Hi. Are those rods directional? Which way goes to front?

The fact sheet that came with them didn’t have a direction specified. Most people typically put the logo on the rod towards the front of the motor.
