Thank you for Porch Time, I watch every week and I feel you both are friends, even though you don't know me... I had to put my cat down yesterday and I have been mourning ever since. I went for a walk at 3am and I have been crying out to the Father, I am not coping well with the loss. It's not just the loss of my cat, I have no one/nothing to care for and that cares for me, here at home. I live alone at age 72, (I'll turn 73 this July 2nd), I don't have any real friends near by, and I have lost all desire to do anything. I know HE loves me, and I feel the Holy Spirit give comfort, I'm sure it will get better with a little more time. That prayer in Psalm 6 was me last night, and even now. Extreme heart ache, Take Me HOME LORD! I am comforted by Porch Time. (PS: I try to thank everyone for all the wonderful help and encouragement. If I miss you I am sorry, but I think you too!)

The loss of a pet is very difficult. Just like family. I pray for your comfort as you grieve this loss. If you have a shelter near you, please look into volunteering a little. They always need help, and the animals need human interaction. It surely helped us after our last loss. God didn’t intend for us to be alone, seek interaction with like-minded people.

Hey Jim, maybe try and see if there is a men's group at a local church, or just a small home group where you can meet nice folks and not be totally alone. God bless your heart. Take care of yourself. Remember God sees you, He knows you, and He loves you.

(Joes wife) i memorized Ps 91 in fall of 2021. Carried verses around on index cards until i knew it like the back of my hand. I did replace the he with shr to make it personal. The eclipse was a spectacular work of God. I live in one of the cities of totality in Ohio.worked in the garden til it began, then put on the glasses, sat in front of the carriage and took a break as the Lords show unfolded.

Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Nearly 1000 years after David wrote that Jesus stood looking over Jerusalem and said " O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stone them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children to gether, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not." Sad words, You Would Not. We are given a free will to serve who we want. Jesus, my Lord, I will serve, obey, & worship. I seek no other king but Him. Thank you Danny & Wanda.

Many years ago, the Holy Spirit ''gave'' Psalm 91 to me....l know that sounds strange, but that's how it seems to me....He has unrolled layers and layers of meaning, solace, strength, courage for every word....He has written this and many other verses in my heart...💞.. l'm 87...memory not so great, but His words stay with me..💞..what a blessing!!! He has also laid it on my heart to pray for all believers and for their loved ones....MY GOD IN HIM WILL I TRUST !!!

When covid 19 1st started, I told my loved ones to read Psalms 91. It helped me a great deal.

I was one of many that worked at a manufacturing plant that closed, went overseas never to return due to ‘the nail in the coffin’ called NAFTA. The absolutely worst policy that was thrust on manufacturing in our Country. A true domino effect: The beginning of the end. Even some years later, I worked at yet another company that started outsourcing whole departments. Started out with over 300 people, then at the bitter end there were 18 of us left….then it closed. So, I’ve had 2 different workplaces that closed. Gee…thanks NAFTA and Clinton.

It’s been in the works 20 years if not more . I am sorry you went through that, I did also and changed my career totally, I became a trucker because I could live anywhere and then moved out to my country property, it’s not for everyone but I got my place paid off in 15 years even while I added a garage, man cave, sheshed, leanto shed and chicken coup and run along with above ground garden beds, it didn’t come overnight but got it all paid off, sometimes changing your career can better your life one year at a time, god blesses us when we do what he asks, I said a prayer on the cb every morning the Lord said he would put a home on my land within 2 years if I spread his word to people, my home what put on my home within 8 months he is good always and will be good to you also.

Psalms 91 is my favorite and i read it multiple times durning the week. When my mom wad diagnosed with cancer last November, God led me to read it. I am so thankful He did! ❤

This is the day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. THUMBS UP Brother.

Psalms 91 is my favorite chapter of the Bible whenever I feel myself worrying or getting tense. I spent yesterday in prayer & fasting as I went about my day. While praying God lead me to see that too many people were sadly "worshiping" the sun and not the SON! Our country needs so desperately to turn back to GOD. NAFTA closed the glass bottle factories in my home town. They moved to Mexico, built a larger, higher production factory, and got cheaper labor. Also, that became the death of my town. Now it is a ghost of what it was.

When you see these Leaders, Pastors,Decons, members leaving churches God has revealed the leaders heart, God has shown in the Bible where many have had quick death upon them..... I've seen so called Prophet's die, as a teenager someone gave me a word, you're going to be a prophet,I never listened & understood because that's a heavy call.... there's so much warfare, judgment & making in that that you must make your call & elect sure, folk's will run with these titles & position & yet not be a healthy Shepherd, they scatter God's sheep 😢we're in the time's where false everything is on the rise... There's nothing wrong with being an obedient, servant, child of God & remain faithful until he comes...
