Years and years ago my 2 sisters and I went tubing on the river. My tube hit a submerged log. I flipped out and was hung under this massive log . I could see the surface but all my strength I could not bring myself to the surface. A voice as clear as day said Stop Struggling. I did and I popped to the surface. God was with me that day and all my days after. I know it was Him protecting me.

Good morning, from Texas. Hope Wanda is feeling better. My hubby and I are reining in the size of our garden this year. There's no need to try to grow things that we won't use. I'm tired of always thinking that the neighbors may need it. We need to come first, and if God decides to give us extra for others, well ok. Don't get me wrong, I know I'm supposed to love our neighbors, but the neighbors are healthy and wealthy and never really want to get their hands dirty. I'm tired of being the Little Red Hen.

Many families are like this, disrespectful, abusive, thinking only of themselves. You're not alone, mine included, for most of our life separated. Things could have been different but selfishness gets in the way. Prayers are needed for us all, that will get us through. Our Father sees. Be blessed 🙌

We have said that the Lord put us here on this property to make a stronger than we already were. We had never lived without running water and central air and heat until now. we are putting shade cloth over our garden this year. and starting a garden in a more shady area to switch too in 25.

We used shade clothes to protect our tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, carrots and chickens last year. Otherwise the intensity of the sun would have definitely killed the plants, and possibly a large number of our chickens.

Good morning Danny. Glad to catch your Porch Time a little earlier. I'm so glad you have this sanctuary for the animals and can enjoy them in the condo. So glad getting more rain and know you so need it. I'm thankful for all the rain you get especially with drought predicted. God is fully in charge and we may go through some things but He will protect His own. I always appreciate your wisdom and helping us to keep our focus on what is really going on. Very good points about Daniel surviving because he kept God foremost in his life no matter what especially the Lion's Den. I agree survival isn't a team sport/effort rather it's my relationship with my Father! I'm content to let Him train me because He is the only one that can in order to walk strong in Him through the times to come and where we're at now. Won't necessarily be easy but He is the Master Trainer. God had you put back together for many reasons. Keeping my eyes on the sun but rather on the Son. Thanks for this Porch Time, Danny. DANNY: We are DUE to have an Earthquake. We do live in the New Madrid Fault line, but it’s in Gods control when or if we have one. (Of course, we know ‘manipulation’ is always possible). Danny, I know your interest of reading and learning about an array of topics, and that includes past events in History. You may already had read about the Earthquakes in 1811 and 1812. It was the New Madrid Fault Line in New Madrid Missouri in Southeast Missouri (and I live about 30 miles away from that small town) It’s a very interesting read One of the things I remember reading about this historical Earthquake is that it was felt as far away as Canada.

So sad that you have to fix for a drought when you got something that normally would be a flood.😢 I have never had to deal with a flooding basement in the winter being in Michigan, but this year it's all different.
