Hell yeah, this animation/music vid is totally righteous and phenomenal i love everything about this masterpiece! both the animatic and song were all put together ever so marvelously the art style is just excellent and the vocals are fantastic truly astounding work everyone, thank you all so much for blessing our eyes and ears with this amazing video i really enjoyed every second of it and the wait was definitely worth it!!!

I've long thought it amusing that the Reflections arc revolved around Celestia and Sombra fighting destiny until they had no choice to bow to who they were supposed to be, whereas Fiendship is Magic #1 and the Siege of the Crystal Empire arc revolved around Sombra following his destiny until he realized that his so-called destiny has only the power that he chooses to cede to it.

This is a great example of how a good loving creature becomes a villian after being rejected as it was a hero.

That steely cold gaze Luna gives Sombra at 3:41 is one of my favorite parts of this animation.

Killer stuff, super cool to have been able to see the whole project develop in your streams!

This is incredible! The way his eyes dull after being shattered in a fight with his love. His life. If he were to win the duel, he would have lost everything all the same. He lost the moment he betrayed his kindred spirit. Celestia not letting him hit the floor really helped show her compassion leak through even in the carnage he caused. That frigid veil between them grew far past the point of forgiveness

Getting an entire animation with a remaster... A surprise to be sure but a welcome one.

long shot you'll see this but as a person that has followed the fandom off/on since like season 2, i'm so glad its still alive. I was in middle school when I got into the fandom i'm 3 years into the military now still lovin' this shit

I've been looking forward for this redux for so long... AND DAMN IT'S GOOD AF... The orchestration is magnificent sagdfhjkdsfgdsfgh This new version of the song is way better than the original... It really shows up how much you've improved through all these years... Before hearing this version, I've heard the previous one and I don't regret it, this is my new favourite version of the song withotu a doubt

this is wonderfull! i absolutely love the part at 3:25 when sombra opens his eyes and sees the beauty of celestia with love in her eyes and the music also turns "softer" but then reality strikes and you see her actually standing ther in her armour instead. and how she drops him after shee realizes that those are forgotten times and he cant be forgiven.. jesus this hits way deeper then i thought! Amazing sound topped with amazing art/animation once again. thanks for this masterpiece prince!

Hearing the 2014 version made me go, “Yeah, I’ve been there.(Sorta).” So when I here there is going to be a redo AND an animation it was all the hype. Was it worth the hype? Yes! This could even fit well with the cannon!(if G5 doesn’t ruin it. i hope that doesn’t happen >:()

Oh wow, I remember this classic. One of those songs you wrote for personal reasons years ago. Still as good as it was.

The story animation that everyone wanted. Sombra X Celestia was such a tragic story and would've turned heads as a special in the show(I already want to cry from this alone).

This was THE song that led to me discovering PW all those years ago. To say I'm excited to see it remastered is an understatement. This is pure nostalgia and undeniable proof that I am still that same edgy horse fanatic that I was back then.

Absolutely loved that! Always a good story behind these incredible songs. Keep up the awesome work!

@@kingjules8744 there is a mlp idw comic series and the issues 17-18-19-20 tell the past love story of mirror dimensions Sombra nad our Celestia. In the mirror dimension everything is opposite to Sombra is good in that universe. If it interests you just write "mlp idw 17-20" to google.
