The mutual respect between the two of you was inspiring, I expected nothing less from you - but seeing the respect he showed you back, and knowing it comes from a man who EVERY man could learn something from - made it all the more special. Even the way you helped him off the trailer shows what a true man you are. Many blessings to you both, I hope those in the younger generation watching this are taking notes

I kinda know how Billy feels. At 79, I have been there done that many times. Was I successful? I think I was. What a great story! Loved every minute. Even shed a few tears. Young folks will never understand, until they reach our age. Thanks Paul and wish I could hug you both. One of the best of Fab Rats. From the flat lands of Central Indiana. God bless you all.

About a month and a half ago I let go of the closest thing to a career I've known to become a mechanic full time. I can't express how good Billy's words made me feel. I wish I could post a picture of the smile on my face! His words make me even more confident that I'm doing the right thing. Thank y'all so much for everything you do, since I found your channel it's been a huge inspiration!

Best regards, may your dreams keep you charging on to be that mechanic we all cherish. My mechanic is old school and he and I both come from a world unknown to many younger folk, but this Fab Rat family sure smells alot like my yesteryear, this is why I'm a fan of the channel. p.s. You know you've found a honest mechanic when he/she tells you that you only need this or that and not the whole banana. (and payment is not the criteria for your repair) Again let me say, "Rock On itzkj13!"

Billy is a very wise man. When he was explaining the dreams we all have in life and knowing when it’s time to let go of something is extremely hard for a lot of people to overcome. But deep down inside he knew his dreams would be fulfilled by you. You didn’t just rescue a piece of history you made friends for life. That’s the most important part of this story.

Love the log look on Billy's place and the thermometer next to the door. I'm glad he happy with your build. I'm sure it was different the what he had planned for it. Great video. They are nice folks. Great hospitality.

When I was transferred to Corpus Christi, Texas by my company. Sometimes I would catch a job in Houma, Louisiana I would call my best friend up and crash at his home. His daughters would be getting up for school and see that uncle Richard was back sleeping on the sofa. Lol, our families had a lot of memories together.

This was awesome seeing the look on his gave at the yota coming down the road was priceless and Matt was totally out good to see him get a few winks in I get the feeling Mat doesn't get much off uninterrupted sleep mind you I'm surprised no one got woken up by his entry into the yard. Truely wish I could just pop down to the shack and get merch but shipping my only option for now. Still gotta say the heavy weight hoodie is bloody good for the aussie winter cheers guys 👍🇦🇺

I love how you took basically a wreck and gave it new purpose with a lot of modifications yet it’s still true to the original. A Chevy engine is perfect: the original Toyota six was supposedly based on the old Chevy sixes and a 400 swap was a wicked FJ40 back in the 80’s. Love that truck!!

pretty crazy that you don't mind fans coming to visit you on you on the property where you live. but given the area and this community it's a lot different from other youtubers welcoming their fans. i think it's awesome you guys rock.
