My mom, now passed, was scrappy as heck and was one to never mess with. She grew up with lots of brothers. She had the boniest knuckles on the planet and knew exactly where to punch for maximum damage. Never try to out-punch or out-burnout a country gal. They'll whip you every time!! Great video....as always. Thanks Rats.

It's wonderful how much you can find when you start cleaning up stuff. All of a sudden you can find all your lost tools and track down those that have been misplaced by thieves or children, which ever you like.

One more plug for some news on Gary Yamamotos Classic Pristine Toyota station wagon. That rig is loaded with stories. And on another note, I think my favorite segment in this one was the clip at the end of Randle and Paul looking exhausted sitting by the woodstove. Looked like they could have sat there a while and just told us all some stories.

The rollback is going to be really handy for you. You will be wondering why you didn't get one sooner. You need to pour a burnout pad attached to the shop. That will make your outside work space nicer than laying on gravel and a place to do your burnouts with the shop doors down. Clean up will be a piece of cake. An added bonus, it will Keep them boys from having to breath in the tire pieces and fumes.

Out of all the project cars I saw the old panel is the coolest. I like the body style of the 47-54 I think. I learned to drive in a 50 pickup on the farm when I was 8 with a pillow under me and behind me. The hardest thing to reach was the starter pedal that was to the right of the gas pedal. I had been driving the old putt putt John Deere for a couple years but I thought I was really something after I could drive that old truck, especially after I got to second gear.

Don't remember what year you said the Isuzu was, looks like a '94 or earlier. Strong little diesel in them. Lotsa torque, uphill is a "pour a cup of coffee we'll get there". Only one shop in my area will work on them, they ain't cheap. Every estimate I've gotten ended up double the price, but they're really nice guys 😉. Price of parts will give you "oh crap" moments. When the run and they do, they're golden. Watched a KZreadr put that diesel into a '76 Chevy pickup, said they pretty much drop in, lit those tires up for half a block. Have fun.

I love the Willy's Jeepster Commando! Wish I still had my 1968. Financial troubles forced me to sell it to a collector. Mine had the Dauntless V6 engine, after-market A/C and the clutch cable replaced with the after-market Z-bar linkage. Used to take it camping in the mountains of Colorado. That machine could climb a steep grade at altitude, never got stuck once. Of course I was not rock crawling the thing or doing sand dunes, but forest trails were not a worry. I sure do miss when even a small 4x4 was built like a big truck, sturdy steel and durable as can be!

There is nothing wrong with turning a Coronet into a road course car! I've seen a beautiful old dodge do amazing things at Thunderhill raceway. I am sure the owner put a ton of work into it and dialed it in very well. He would close up to my Evo in the middle of a corner then blast past with an epic roar at the exit. It was awesome.

The UD you guys have is actually a Nissan Diesel truck. They are solid trucks and are generally considered a superior product to Isuzu trucks. The engines are pretty much indestructible. Volvo bought UD in 2007, but the trucks were still built by Nissan Diesel. Isuzu purchased UD from Volvo in 2021.

OK so here’s a tip when you’re seeding a repair You did everything right all the way up to the end you didn’t do anything wrong. But if you put a little bit of. Clear plastic over it After you get it moist. For one day. Then pull it off and water it and do it again. You will be amazed how fast it starts growing then I just toss a little bit more seed in maybe six days later
