Agreed that looks awesome
I love how Paul has conversations while looking at Ben but is 100% Paul arguing and discussing with himself and Ben just looks at him.
Waking up to build a tow truck would be a great day!☀️🌴
It made me smile hearing: “tight like unto a dish.” Classic straight out of Ether. 👍🏻
You're not wasting pipe, you're learning or just figuring out how you can't do it. Glad Uncle Ben survived all that death wheeling. Cheers 🍻
All that hard work on the wrecker is a great tribute to your dad. He's smiling down upon you now!🙏
These brothers complement each other very well. At least on camera. I doubt they are any different off camera. Mad fab skills.

The 'like unto a dish, tight' line made me smile. I saw you pull that reference, good on you Paul.
Robby Layton request the viewers to raid you with comments to get you to run the exhaust on a Chevy truck they are fixing for a boy I think it would be really cool to see you guys do another collab personally!!!!! Love you guys!!!!!!!

Robby Layton is asking for help to build an exhaust system for his truck build he is doing. You guys are awesome can't wait to see the finished product of the tow truck. I'm sure your dad is excited to it getting done as well. God bless you all and be safe.
Hey guys. I was thinking back when soon after your Dad's passing you were bringing in his wrecker and talking about how bitter sweet it was. We were feeling so bad for you. That was a difficult video to make. But watching you, Ben, your son's and your mom being involved in it is so awesome. 3 generations making it happen. For sure your Dad's right there smiling from ear to ear! Well done. We love you guys. 🤠🧑🦰🌲🌲🌲 🎼
I knew I liked you guys.....but the way you dealt with that Widow, you are my kind of people! Well done!
The stacked headlights are worth the extra work. Those are the subtle touches that act as a bridge from what the truck was to what it is becoming, just like a dad passing knowledge to his kid who passes it to his kid. One of your best episodes yet!
I think you're dad would love what you guys are doing to his tow truck can't wait to see you compete in it

Man, it is absolutely amazing how easy yall make this look. This is some of the hardest angles and measurements to come up with when dealing with round tubing and yall make it look like basic math. Crazy
“Unto a dish” tight! Ha ha thats a fantastic phrase that I would imagine most of your viewers wouldn’t completely understand. I love it!
Stacked headlights on a narrowed front end is the cat's meow. She's a beaut Paul! Can't wait to see her all dressed up and ready for the dance!

Not a Canadian but my sons Father-in-law is, he used to call his brother a hoser, from my understanding it is A slang term Canadian with limited education and intelligence. Apparently, it runs ramped with our neighbors to the north. That said that is how it was explained to me, it is not meant to be disrespectful. I have never been to Canada so i can't talk from experience.
I love how the front end is coming together in the Rat Rod Wrecker. Please add the marker lights back into the front fenders. That would be so awesome!
"Tight, like unto a dish." I think I learned about that in my Sunday School class! 😉
You know Paul often says, "it's almost like we knew what we were doing" and I find myself rooting for his ideas and all the work the whole crew puts in, to work out just the way he wants it. I enjoy this channel and this team so much.
My complaint is that I could watch an hour of Fab Rats if the videos were longer. Thanks! That’s a cool build!
@3gunshooter60

It's Rob, I agree. Double the length would suit me.
Paul, what a amazing job you are doing in honouring your dad’s dreams for the Rat Rod tow truck!! He’s looking down on you, with joy of the awesome job you and Ben are doing!! I think there should be a Memorial Portrait on the hood scope of your dad, once the truck is finished. So every time the truck is out doing what was built for he’s right there with you guys!! Robby, need your magic touch for a custom exhaust for Aidan’s memorial truck build of, his dad’s truck. We all know you are very busy with everything going on in your own shop!! But we all know that you understand about Aidan’s going though!! The situation isn’t the same but feeling and a motions are!! Thanks, for sharing all that you do with your KZread family!!
it's quite the situation to observe Paul when he has his eye-chrometer connecting to his logical designing spirit for the heart of modifying this family iron, to compose this project into what mutated metal his & Ben's minds are deciphering! am anticipating a phenomenal result: Grampa Sherm's vision!
This is the best editing hands down that I've seen on this channel. Also the first video in months that doesn't have that tedious muted trumpet dilly dally background music. Love seeing the more artistic vision side of a sweet rock crawler build!
Looks great - it's so nice that you are keeping your dad's memory alive with this build.
Hey Paul, Robby needs an exhaust system for Aidens pickup. Keep up the good work. Thanks for all the cool videos. Pieter from South Africa 🇿🇦
I don't think people who don't build rock crawlers understand the amount of labor that goes into the smaller stuff like sheet metal fab, portable welders, a compressor, and things I don't even know about yet as most of my experience has been drag racing cars and bikes, and classic motorcycle restoration, or year of working in a fab shop building quarry equipment until it closed. Keep up the great work and content. I wished I had someone like Ben who could work with me as good as Ben works with you. Its nice to see all that skill in one room with out the bickering or screw ups. You guys are generally just great at what you do. Kudos men!!!!
Clearly you guys were born to fab! The skills here may have started with derby, but you've refined them in so many ways.
On the water running into the shop, consider getting ahold of a concrete scabbler and regrade the concrete apron away from the door. And just in case you haven't seen the the one or two other comments, Robby is suggesting you help on a collab doing an exhaust on his build on Aiden's truck.
Sure hope you help Robbie with the exhaust for Aiden's truck. Meanwhile the rat rod tow truck is coming along great!
The education everyone has received from Paul, Matt, Rory and Robby are beyond any price. Truck looks amazing!
When I was in highschool I worked at a RV dealer doing brake jobs on trailers that sat for years. We always kept brake fluid and a lighter ready for the black widow spiders and their nests inside every brake drum.
Robby would appreciate your expertise with running some exhaust 😊
Starting to look like a well built Frankentruck. I mean that in a good way. Your fab skills are over the top.
The Ole wrecker is coming together Paul love it, the front end looks awesome, good job on the Black Widow!
I must admit, that was the Biggest Black Widow Spider I have ever seen. Thankfully, no one was bitten. Good job on the Wrecker. It's starting to take shape.
Boy it's cool to watch you two. Between the both of you don't think there's one part that you guys can't fix or make. The way you guys just listen to each other no argument just who ever has the best idea you go with it. Love you're show.
Great way to honor your dad , it's looking amazing. Ps robbie is hinting around for some fabrats exhaust work for Aidan truck
Just visited the shop! It was awesome! The rat guys were incredible, thanks for the hospitality!
"Like unto a dish" - Paul I know the quote reference. I KNEW IT!!! I love your channel. Keep up the GREAT work.
The vision you have is awesome. Keeping the stacked headlights keeps the square body look. One done that front end is going to grab lots of folk’s attention. Great skills at work!
However good what you and Matt build, it’s going to have to be a large leap forward in capability to beat Rory’s off road tow truck experience. Cannot wait to see.

I love how easy Paul & Ben make the metal work look. In regards to Paul's screwup statement, my late & great Dad always said "You're only as good as your last screwup"😄 Thank you for sharing some amazing metal work.
Hey everyone at FabRats ! You're doing great... but you need a break in the action. There is a very important exhaust system that needs to be done. So give Robbie a call and let him know that you guys can get'r done !
Gosh guys, that truck is looking awesome!!!! I kinda cringed at the thought of cutting up a squarebody, but darn it if yall haven't made it even cooler! Good work Cox boys!!!! Grampa Sherm would be proud of this monster, and you monster kids!!
Thank you for the hours and hours of entertainment.

"Well I'll be dipped!". It blows me away how Paul can look at vacant space and not only envision what he wants but also create it.

I really like the way the rat wrecker is coming along . you guys are doing a great job.

Paul is awesome! He is the only person that can eyeball measure something and it comes out perfect!🤔🤨
Hey Paul, my husband got me hooked on your channel (as well as Robby Layton’s and Matt’s Off-road). We both think you should help Robby build an exhaust for Aidan’s truck. Keep up the great work.
Hey Paul I think you need to go ahead and do the exhaust system with flowmasters for Aiden's truck that Robbie is rebuilding for him
Rory's truck is the perfect truck to copy.. I like where this is going.
This build is gonna be so clean. The squarebody chevy is an american icon. I owned a 84 for a year or two. It just got to where it needed new gas tank/ fuel lines and break lines and a engine refresh and I needed a daily so I sold it. 😐 It was a super clean truck too body wise. The guy that bought it from me built a show truck out of it. I Love all this tow truck content outta fab rats and matts offroad
Man it is great to see you 2 brothers working together as a team. Pretty cool stuff keep it up. Thanks for sharing.
The Rat wrecker is going to look sick with that wedged cowl induction hood. Another great video guys!
You guys had me rolling "that's going to be tight" "like, unto a dish tight"
Loved the "unto a dish", tight. If ya know, ya know. Lol! 😂
Simply amazing…the engineering that goes into these builds! 👍👍👍
It's going to be awesome wrecker and your dad would be proud of you great video and great job with the truck God bless you and your family and crew from GA stay safe

I just love what you guys do. It was always a dream of mine to do what you do and family and life got in the way. Now I have the time I have got metastasized prostate cancer so I will have to watch you guys do what I would love to do. I met you guys last spring and dropped you off some Mt Dew when Randall was still there. It was good to see him again. If you ever come out to Logandale NV to our rock crawler event hump and bump I would like to show you guys around. Keep up the good work.

Robby Layton needs the help of Paul and crew on an exhaust for a gift truck. You guys need to do a collab!😁
Robby Layton needs your help please build a super cool exhaust system for Aidans Chevrolet
Dad's old truck is looking good. You guys are making good headway!! It's going to look really awesome!!!
So Paul, I've been a subscriber for a while now, and I'm impressed with how calmly you overcome difficulties. I'm an experienced mechanic, aviation, automotive, farm... I hate it all! It's barely barable for me when things go well, but I get these weird one of a kind, never heard of things, (WAY too often) that just DRIVE ME NUTS!!! How is it you're so patient all the time? Superior character or editing?!
I wish for longer mechanical episodes. Paul turn the camera on when you get to the shop in the morning an let run 😉
Looking good! Robby needs some flow master exhaust 👍🏼
Paul, we need to see you help out Robbie Layton with the exhaust on Aidens Chevy pickup! We love the collaborations! Keep up the great work!
Lots of progress on the RatRod Towtruck! Well done guys! “We have the tools, we have the talent!”…Ghostbusters.
Super cool & creative way you all go about solving challenges! …but I did get distracted when I realized that the pin-striping outlived the paint on your fender… lol! P.s: Guess when Robby Layton’s video hit? I’m guessing he wants you to help with an exhaust 😂
Great video, I have been wanting to see what your vision was on the front fenders. Was not expecting you to section the hood but it makes complete sense. I think it will look awsome. Robby wants all of us to spam you, hook him up with some exhaust. Its for a good cause.
It is so sentimental that you are carrying out the plans you and your dad made for his wrecker. Paul does his CAD design in felt rip marker and hands it off to Ben. Have a nice fabing day!
Exactly right tone of faking it until you making it. % talk is perfectly balanced with actual amount of work done.
Love watching you guys creating a master piece!
Patiently waiting to hear this truck make some noise,,I think your main competitor in this off road tow truck build off will be TrailMater, your rigs are going to be fairly matched,,the monster that Matt is building, might be too big,,rock crawlers are normally on a smaller frame for maneuverability, and can go places monster trucks can only dream about, time will tell!!😎😎😎
Mannnn, Yall could do a video just alone on how to maximize usage of shop square footage, Incredible utilization of work space. Awesome Channel Content, As real as it gets.
Have you and Robbie talked yet about you to working together on an exhaust system for the gift truck his shop is rebuilding to replace his dad's pickup that was wrecked? He even said he would pay you, ( if he needed to ), unless you donated your time and expertise to the project. Having someone with the knowledge that you have would be a bonus to the rebuild. Please consider the idea, and we all hope you will see it as a great part in helping complete this project.
Yup, Robby is looking for help with a Chevy exhaust from the master!
Best part of this episode was when I learned I'm not the only one that makes "tight like unto a dish" jokes😆
Your Dad would be proud! Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
