I remember seeing this on tv when I was 4, but I always thought it was just a dream, because as a child my imagination played tricks on me and I saw things that weren't there. I personally love this style by Powerman 5000. While they don't consistently offer it each album, Tonight the Stars Revolt, Anyone for Doomsday, and Builders of the Future are very fun and in this style.

Anyone else think the covert art for Deus Ex 2 looks suspiciously like Spider? I know it's the least revered game in the franchise among most (I liked it), but the default Alex Denton looks insanely like this guy. I mean it was the early oughties and ridiculous iced tips were everywhere, but that and the jumpsuits really made me think of it.

I heard Powerman referred to recently as "an obscure metal group from the late 90's" and wished more people had heard their music. Most ppl I hear refer to them seem to do it as a joke and I die a little inside every time.

Nobody's real but at least they are willing to let you know. It's the ones that arent willing to let you know that you need to watch.
I personally love this style by Powerman 5000. While they don't consistently offer it each album, Tonight the Stars Revolt, Anyone for Doomsday, and Builders of the Future are very fun and in this style.
Saw them live in Dallas for the 20th Anniversity, they opened with this song, and so many memories and feeling resurfaced. Was a kickass show!!!
Still one of my all-time favorite albums

Anyone else think the covert art for Deus Ex 2 looks suspiciously like Spider? I know it's the least revered game in the franchise among most (I liked it), but the default Alex Denton looks insanely like this guy. I mean it was the early oughties and ridiculous iced tips were everywhere, but that and the jumpsuits really made me think of it.

I remember watching Serial Experiments Lain for the first time in 2005 and this was the first song that came to my head after it was over. Whenever I think back on the series, this song is always playing for me.
