I live in student accommodation with no tv/radio, don't read newspapers and my only exposure to the news is tumblr and other American-heavy websites. I had NO idea there was going to be a wedding until last Friday when my friends and I walked into Poundland and was bombarded with royal tat Our conversation went a little like this: What's all this? It's the royal wedding, isn't it There's a wedding? Didn't know *5 minutes of criticising the display of shite *briefly discusses when Ashens would release a video I don't think any of us actually gave a shit about the wedding...

Drowns In Kool Aid They're pretty rare in the UK too, most shops here use standard sized barcodes, it's just aldi and lidl that use large ones, and the odd poundland thing

Do NOT use a spoon to depress a tounge to stop someone from choking to death. Simply tilt the head backwards and roll the person on their side, unless they are actively seizing. In that case, put some padding underneath their head and remove any dangerous objects. Do not attempt to restrain them. Observe their seizure. If this happened for the first time, or to a stranger, call emergency services. Likewise, if it looks different from usual or results in any injury, call EMS. If a person is unconscious or stopped seizing, turn them onto their side with the head tilted backwards and the chin slightly forward as described above. Monitor breathing consistently. Call EMS. I have one of those phone tripods, and they're a lot more cheaply made than you'd think. Like, a LOT more.

The Works actually sell a version of that rubber hand but as a fist! It seems to be asking for a trip to A&E because it's not very well attached to the extender either...

Questions from someone who is not British: What's the obsession with the Royal Family masks? Why is that a thing, why do people buy them, why do people MAKE them? Am I missing something? Seriously, it's kinda creepy. Imagine walking down the street and seeing a bunch of people wearing masks of your face. Bonus nightmares if it's as low resolution and crappy as poor William's mask.

Like Ashens said, they are great people intending to rob banks. If you find this idea to be weird, just watch the movie Point break (the original, not the remake).

That time machine quip just made me go "Don't drink and drive".

Yuuup. Turned out to be a hateful witch after all. And the queen died. Life sucks.

The royal wedding has also been all over the US media. I thought we had the Revolutionary War over 200 years ago so we didn't have to deal with the royal family.

hamsterama it was more to do with not getting representation in parliament than it was having a dislike of living under monarchy.

I had to pause the video at the "I have your wedding spoooon!" bit I was laughing so much.

That black and white part of the video was awsome and at the same time creepy cool man cool
