You may not have noticed, but Ashens doesn't rely on ad revenue, so he doesn't care about KZread and its ever-changing rules around profanity. If he was reliant on being able to monetise his videos, he'd be self-censoring, too. So, the solution is, if you don't want your favourite KZreadrs to have to self-censor, become a patron.

@peterclarke7240 I'm not complaining about Ashens swearing. I'm just pointing out the way he said Motherf**ker was funny as f**k. If anything I wish he would swear more and that KZread wouldn't have bitch fits over any KZreadr swearing.

Gosh, retail sucks. My first job was in Macy's during the holiday season, so October through February, anyways, there was this surreal experience I had. They played the same 20 songs on loop all day, right, to the point where I literally couldn't hear the music anymore. My brain just perceived it as silence. And then one day I'm ringing out a customer and she says "Oh, I love this song". And I'm almost like "what song?" but there was a strange moment where all of a sudden the music just kinda fades back into existence, and I'm just thinking, "has this been playing all day?" It broke my brain.

Ah, love these videos... had my own cheap-store adventure this year. Decided to take my mom on a shopping trip to hit up Dollar Tree. She bought a cute plastic skeleton decoration and for some reason, one leg kept popping out of the bag. We joked about him trying to escape, but when we got home we realized it only had 1 arm and 3 legs. Someone, either at the store or in the factory swapped out an arm for a leg. I named him "Tripod".

I always intentionally look for the oddballs like that when I'm in the Dollar Tree. One Easter they had little plush bunnies, and I walked up to the display and said, "Aww, how cute!" and picked one up, and then I realized the one that I happened to pick up had its face sewn on sideways. I ended up buying it because of how hard it made me laugh. His name is Herpaderp.

It sucks because US imports from China are more safety regulated and taxed than UK imports so Dollar Tree for the USA is nothing like the 99 pence shops in UK in terms of cheap food and products. British pound shops have way cooler stuff for the pound/dollar than we do.

So I picked up one of the other range of this glass domed line, has a little house in it with an LED underneath. It was already broken, so the dome came off easily, the houses in ALL of them had already broken off the base, the LED popped out easy, and they were reduced from 3quid to one pound fifty. The spider cat toy sounds as though it has the same internal mechanism as the hamster cat toys my family had over a decade ago - most of the cats ignored them, but the one who was usually a snack-and-sleep blob of bitey stupidity (RIP Blobcat, you daft old lump) liked them enough to almost work out how to work the pullcord (he figured out that he needed to pull the cord, but not that he'd have to hold down the rest of the toy while he did so). Very unusual for him to show that much intelligence, especially for something other than food.

I genuinely thought the flocked owl was a cat, until Ashens said what it was. It would have made far more sense if it had been a black Halloween cat.

I bought one, It's pretty well organised inside with socketed connectors and the speaker is a lot louder than I expected. Unplugging the motor that moves the eyes really helps reduce the noise. Now to turn it into an Alexa home assistant skull that responds to the name Yorick.
