It's disappointing that a lot of doctors can be so insensitive to their patients. Sorry excuses for human beings...

Its so rare to see brown skin on medical diagrams it's so refreshing. Representation matters

I know that he was trying to be funny but it rubbed me the wrong way when he called them "his breasts". Ugh.

I am a bit sad that appearances are so important in our society...

I had reconstruction surgery and a couple years later I had a rupture. The damage to my breasts made me extremely uncomfortable and self conscious of my appearance when being intimate with my partner. I went to see a surgeon who commented that I couldn’t be that uncomfortable if I was still having sex. I wish to this day that I had spoken up when he said that but I was just shocked that he could be so insensitive and ignorant.

While watching this video it reminded me of what a surgeon said to me. In 1999 I had major spinal surgery. I was extremely compliant in wearing a hard back brace for the full six months the doctor suggested. Initially, I felt much better. Previously, I had pain that shot down the front of my thighs. I described it as bears ripping the flesh off my thighs. Little by little I developed extreme adult onset scoliosis. I went back to the same doctor and he told me that “your current condition exceeds my level of expertise!” After that I went to doctor after doctor and they all refused to accept me as a patient! They said I need to go back to my original surgeon, which as I mentioned, wanted nothing to do with me!!! I continued to search for a surgeon and after 14 years, I did locate one. He had to operate on me multiple times to correct my back the best he could. I’ve now had a total of 12 spine surgeries!

I have a naturally large chest and I have spent my whole life wishing I didn’t! The back pain, discomfort in exercise, difficulty finding clothes since I’m not thought of in clothes design, the rashes from boob sweat, having to go to specialty shops for bras, why does anyone want this? And on top of everything else, the sagging once you get older 🥲 If I could reduce them with out all the scarring and complications I would in a heartbeat.

Dr. Youn's skin is like GLASS. His products must work if it does half the smoothing needed to make him look 35 when he was, 48? When he made this video. Gorgeous. I may ask for them for Christmas.

Again, Kudos to Dr. Dubrow for telling the young lady what may happen and making it clear he has to begin the surgery before he knows if he can achieve their objective. Honesty like this is so refreshing and, sadly, so rare when it comes to surgery. It seems like most surgeons, wishing to keep the patient's trust and confidence, do the very thing that will lose both-- they lie or withhold information like this from them. You want someone's trust and confidence? Be honest and forthright. Tell them each possible outcome and risk. What's the worst that can happen? If they get cold feet, maybe it's for the best.

Reminds me of a woman who had heart surgery, and she had staple scars down the center of her chest. She talked to her doctor about her being self-conscious. His response is, tell people you are literally a playboy centerfold. 🤬
