Corie, when you first opened the cardboard box with the tree I had absolutely No hope for it, But by the time you finished, I absolutely love this tree! I I am also very sentimental and I love hanging on my tree ornaments from my childhood, from my grandma and other friends and relatives. But I especially love hanging the ornaments that my children made while they were in school. It seems that every ornament and Tree Trimmer has some sort of meaning. So I absolutely loved looking at all of your ornaments. They were beautiful. I think that pink tree turned out Great!! Also, I am a knitter and I love your Christmas sweater! I love the mantle and your Granny's tree. There were eight children in my family and my parents got each of us a tree. Daddy bought mine the day I was born in August. He told me it felt like Christmas. One of my sisters trees was silver and my little sisters was a silver that shined purple and blue with ornaments that matched. I used my tree for about 15 years after I got married but sadly I had to retire it lol. I have a lot of my Mother's vintage decorations on my tree now. All my ornaments are memories. I love Christmas!

Pink Christmas Tree takes me back to 1963 when Dad got Silver Tree with Flood Light Color Wheel Kit Setup. The whole rotated and changed colors : ) It was beautiful to a 10 yo ; ) Now days grown I am not much of a Commercialized Christmas fan, I think Christmas is Wonderful for Kids but as an adult (me) I celebrate Jesus's Birthday.

Pretty new mantle!!! The book shelves would be pretty painted white... I actually love white bookcases blended with that ash light brown wood... It looks really crisp and clean and feels very open in the home... White trim and white book cases would help the new mantle pop ! Just a thought if you haven't thought of this idea... perhaps look on the internet at this idea... But....I agree with you the new mantle looks soooo much better... Your pink tree looks gorgeous, Corie. Growing up my brother and I had little trees like that in our bedrooms too. I had a green one with multicolored decorations and my brother had a white one with red decorations. And I still have mine. It's probably 35 years old. Thank you thank you for letting us watch you decorate.

Don't forget little olive...she needs a stocking for Santa to put her doggie treats. She's been a great girl and needs a present too.

@@benjaminharrison1522 I’m not lying I have picture proof of her also laying in front of the Christmas tree staring at her wrapped Christmas presents, she received the same toy every year, the only toy she would play with and on Christmas morning I would tell her she could have it and she would push on every present until it squeaked then she would chew it open and I hope you have a wonderful day filled with lots of joy and love and peace

Love the pink tree and sentimental ornaments!! I like to have a tree and a nativity in every room. Some are tiny but I like it. My kitchen has several small trees with lights on top of the cupboards and my grandsons love them!

Just an idea about hanging the stockings. They have these heavy ornaments with a hook incorporated into the design that sit flat on the mantel for hanging stockings, and they come in all sorts of designs: deer, snowman, santa, etc. They're often made of gold or silver metal. i would have loved to see the tree in full and at a distance...maybe you will show that in one of your future Christmas videos. I love 'mini' trees and I like this pink tree very much. Everything looks great! I agree with you about the old mantel! Enjoy yourselves with your new home!

Beautiful mantle and I love the way you decorated it. Maybe you can get some of those stocking holders that are weighted and sit on top of the mantle with the hook hanging over the top, you can then hang your stockings without nailing in to the wood. Corie, the decorated tree just added more coziness to your comfy home. We decorate 5 different trees in our house. We also hang Christmas pictures in every room for every wall. We have lots of Christmas decor sitting around. We have a complete country style of decor. Now, that’s just inside. My husband decorates outside with numerous lights. Our house is outlined to look like a gingerbread house. We also have a lot of yard decorations. We always decorated for our kids when they were growing up. Now, we do it for the grandkids. Who am I trying to kid? We just love Christmas and the fact it’s Jesus’s birthday is more reason to celebrate it. You and your sister have such old souls. That’s so great!
