Pilates Workout with a Small Ball (45 Min Class) - Total Body Pilates Flow

We start with a warm up and then move into a fun side body series targeting obliques, hips, and glutes. From there we move into core work in which we'll use the ball to connect to our inner thighs and pelvic floor. We finish class prone, first focusing on the lower half, and then centering off with spinal extension work.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
-Small Pilates ball (doesn't have to be the exact same size I'm using, but for reference, mine is a 7.5" ball) amzn.to/3qEZrlJ
If you're used to taking Classical Pilates classes, this will be a smidge different. I'm trained through STOTT, which is a contemporary, anatomy-driven approach - and then I put my own flair on top of that. :)

Thanks for this Awesome Pilates class. I feel so energized after this. Wonder if my glutes are soooo weak that when doing side lying with zig-zag leg, my front glutes are much more tiring than oblique. I can hardly raise my leg up in prone work if I’d like to have my lower back neutral too.

That side lying work is tough for the glutes! Total normal to feel that more than obliques. And don't worry about a big range of motion with the extension work in prone - even just an inch of lift is awesome. ❤️
That was amazing only one problem I had to use my mini band to keep the ball at the back of my knee I couldn't hold it there or squeeze tight enough to hold it in place lol 😂 ......that'll tell you how weak my muscles are at the back of my legs lol 😂 None the less I did it and I enjoyed it and it's also brilliant for me to do before bed , after work time . Thank you so much Nicole everyday is a fab challenge for me Steph 🇮🇪 Ireland
