Hi! I'm Nicole. I’m a STOTT trained Pilates Instructor, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and a Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. I've been teaching since 2013. In addition to these certs, I'm certified in Lagree Fitness, Spinning, and Indo-Row.
There is a ton of class variety to be found on this channel, but my primary focus is Pilates, mobility, and functional strength. All workouts have an emphasis on proper form. Let's support our bodies by focusing on functional, purposeful movements.

I am 17 years old and almost 2 years ago, I became interested in getting a better understanding of pilates. I searched KZread endlessly to learn the true technique and basics. I have completed and dipped my toe into several beginner series focusing on the fundamentals, and I have to say this is the best one yet. If only I would have found this series first! The way you attack the basics bit by bit, and allow for practice with each skill is fantastic. Especially because as a beginner or even intermediate "practitioner", for lack of a better word, it is difficult to have such a deep and expansive mind-body connection to focus on all the little things like breath and pelvic placement at once. The way each class builds up onto the next is amazing! I'm doing this series slowly and am taking notes on lesson videos! I have done one video per week (so I'm on week 5) and am looking forward to next week with video number 6, and all the weeks and videos to follow! Thank you for this amazing series, you are a great teacher!

Hi Nicole - I have a silly question. I prefer wearing socks, rather than having my feet bare naked - is that okay/still beneficial for a class like this? I do want to improve my foot strength, health, and mobility. I’m just a girl who prefers to wear socks 😅 Thank you!
