I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.
At 35, I've come to have a deep appreciation for Phil Collins. I wasn't even alive in his hay day, but hot damn, he knows how to really put the words on paper with emotions men can't describe. He's ya boy.... He's you're wing man, he's sound advice, and he's here to help you dodge a bullet with it. May he enjoy every minute of his time these days. He earned it, and his contribution to society with live on for hopefully as long as there's recorded history damnit!

I have always loved this song - such a killer instrumental - but I hadn't seen the live performance from this tour in a while. Damn! As always, the band is simply spectacular and Phil's playing is spectacular. At points, he's beating those drums like they owe him money and other points he demonstrates such a phenomenal control of dynamics and that uncanny mix of rock and jazz he does so well. The extra bits of just Phil, Chester and Brad are great and then Daryl joining them...what a tour de force performance. I've been fortunate to see a lot of concerts in my life - Phil's Both Sides tour still ranks as one of the best shows I've ever seen.
Such an iconic piece in his album, "Hello I Must Be Going", Pratically an instrumental, with very few lyrics. Honestly love the emotion, that it gives out, just a Masterpiece of Instrumental, with the drums, trumpets, saxophone, just perfection. These live shows, were probably his best in his prime, after the great 80s, but his 90s concerts were legendary. Hoping your doing well legend, All the best. 💙👑

I went and saw Phil in concert at the Spectrum in Philly PA for his Seriously Live tour. I also have the Seriously Live DVD and this is my most loved and played section. Put this song on and crank up the sound.
