Phil Collins

Phil Collins

One of music’s most iconic and celebrated figures, legendary British singer, songwriter, drummer, and
producer Phil Collins has made an indelible mark on pop culture during his five-decade-long career
- both as a member of Genesis and as a chart-topping solo artist. Long counted as one of the world’s all-
time best-selling recording artists, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is also among its most decorated,
with multiple GRAMMYS®, Ivor Novellos, BRITs, and an Academy Award to his name. But what is
perhaps more impressive is his ability to reach so many fans - across borders and generations - with a
string of hits that have become ingrained in the collective consciousness, including “Against All Odds
(Take a Look at Me Now),” “Sussudio,” “You’ll Be in My Heart,” and, perhaps most famously, “In the
Air Tonight,” which is not only one of the late 20th century’s most enduring songs, but also features one
of music’s most recognisable drum breakdowns.

the musician credits on the original album list Eric Clapton on guitar on this song but the only guitar I hear is bass.

This song hurt me big. In the 80s. I'm 63 now. And I wouldn't wish that hurt on anyone. Phil I love ya man. Honestly. Always & Forever Phil

Lots of hugs..cry...but start smiling again...even if it is just one forced smile to start off with...smile a little more...cry a river....smile even more...until you reach the point where you smile more than you are crying....keep on smiling...and START LIVING AGAIN... don't you think this is what your ❤️ would have wanted for you?🙏

In my opinion the 80's music was more about true emotions, unlike today's music where they just sing a song with little emotion..

Never realized how much pain he had in this song as a teen. Much different as an adult hearing this song I listened to 40 years ago. He was hurt bad by someone. Probably in Flordia with these screwball sexually immoral people playing God poorly with peoples lives accusing them of other people
