pav recipe | ladi pav | homemade pav | eggless pav bread recipe with a detailed photo and video recipe. a soft and puffy indian style bread recipe made with plain flour and dry yeast. basically, indian version of ladi pav is very similar to the dinner roll, but softer without crisp texture. it is ideally served with pav bhaji, misal pav or vada pav but can be served with any choice or curry or even bhurji recipes.

She took 450 gm maida and divided the dough into 8 equal parts but when kept in tray there were 12 balls/ buns so my question is from 450 g maida how many buns are made 8/12

Thank you for the recipe and showing how you make this wonderful bread. I want to order a suitable baking tin to follow your recipe and technique and was wondering what size baking tray you use. I see that on your website you say width 15cm, height 6cm, length 17cm. I notice you make a batch of 12 Pavs so they must be smaller than I imagined. I live in the UK so never seen the real thing and it's hard to tell how big they are from the video alone. Please let me know if the measurements of the tin (as shown) are correct so that I can get on with making this exciting recipe :)

This recipe turned out perfect to the T! It was so simplified and easy to make! My bread turned out extremely soft and fluffy.... Infact better than store bought! Absolutely recommend trying this! Also I'm new to baking and I had no issues at all. Quick suggestion. Knead the dough really well!

I baked it first time: turn it out so good 😊 thank you ! only some of things I have to change since all the oven and climate is different around the world ( from Canada 🇨🇦) . > It took 2.5 hours to rise my flour ( because of now AC is ON during summer , winter May be less time as heater is ON > next time I am going to reduce the time to 15 mins instead of 20 mins , May be because of I have GE Cafe series gas oven and it is little dry then regular or counter oven > will add parchment paper on the bottom since I don’t have aluminum pan , I used non stick coated pan Hope this helps to some other home cook like me Keep sharing best and straight recipes

I made it today and it was same as shown above. Soft spongy and delicious. Loved it

Hi!! I made ladipav as per your recepie, and they were awesome. Only thing was that it was not soft as bakery, what should I do for that softness?
I used 1/2 wheat flour and 1/2 maids. It turned out very soft. Will try with full wwf next time. Very easy and perfect recipe.
