He was lazy. Paul is making six figures while his guys from ECW died in poverty while he was owed hundreds of thousands. Mox just wanted to put on a memorable Mania match. Sorry if that’s a problem Brock. Glad you jobbed to Cody.

@@WOHBuckeye I second that! Sorry Mox wants the best out of his opponents and himself to put on the best match he can. And sorry he likes to bleed look at his background and career where it started. His first contract wrestling job where he honed his craft and learn how to work with the crowd and shoot wrestle was in "Puerto Rico?" I think, one of the "P" places anyways. Was pretty much, every fight a blood match. And if didnt bleed fast enough or boring They crowd would literally throw whatever they could find at the wrestlers, including a literal "kitchen sink, said Mox" and try to hit you and get you to bleed that way if not to the crowds liking or quenching their blood thirst. So can you blame him, Can you really blame Mox for bleeding as oftenly as he does in his matches. It's what he knows best and taught very early on in his career when he was still very new and inexperienced, figuring it and himself all out and learning how to basically wrestle and how to put together a match and tell a story. Anyways.... Never judge Mox for his choices. He has a reason for everything and planned out and nothing is done for nothing. Everything he does has a reason and point when he does it. You just need to pay attention and Let Mox do Mox and JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP AND WATCH! It's Rastlin' take it of GET TUE FUCK OUT AND GO BACK TO THE WWE CROWD! AND WATCH SAME GODDAMN THINGS AND SAME GODDAMN PEOPLE FIGHT SAME GODDAMN PEOPLE OVER AND OVER AND NO SURPRISES AND A 3 YEAR BORING CHAMP WITH WHAT 10/15 MATCHES TO HIS DEFENSE. BUT NEW RECORD FOR LONGEST BELT REIGH. ANYWAYS. SIT BACK LET MOX DO MOX OR FUCK OFF AND SKIP THE MATCH! BOOM SOLVED.

Yeah I have... i have to say I went in thinking it was boring but it was a really interesting read, provided a lot of perspective and honestly, that along with Brock opening himself up more recently has given me a lot of respect for him. He get's a lot of stchik for his 'get in get out' attitude but I can honestly understand it being an introvert myself. Like you said he's given a lot more than we think to the business and as for MMA, I'm a UFC fan and while I didn't get to see them live, I've watched all his fights. I genuinely think had he got into it earlier and not had diverticulitis, he could have been one of the absolute best at Heavyweight. Then again his first WWE run made him as famous as he was which helped, and he's given a lot to both worlds. A certified Hall of Famer in both. I hope he and Paul finish the story when he finally hangs it up.

Moxley said in the Wade Keller interview that he never wanted the weapons in the match. Vince wanted the weapons in the match. Moxley wanted Lesnar to literally kill him in the match by beating him UFC style by bare hands and Moxley wanted to display the never say die attitude in the match to make people feel a certain way emotionally like they are literally watchinh a thrilling movie in the ring but Lesnar was like "No,I would rather do 2 moves and I would rather keep getting those easy paychecks because I'm a LAZY professional wrestler."

Heyman is right about Lesnar but Lesnar was also a part to blame for how the match was supposed to be. Why a part? It's mostly WWEs fault. The fans expectations and the way WWE promoted the whole match for WM32 was literally about "an extreme fight" with Terry Funk and Mick Foley helping Jon with giving him extreme items at the time. But then Brock realized he was going to show up at UFC in the later week so he just went, "uh you know what, let's don't do that because I have a UFC match after this" It's clearly WWE's fault.

That's exactly right, WWE painted themselves into a corner with the Moxley/Lesnar match. Brock has shown since he came back, that he CAN NOT wrestle a full thirty minute match, it's literally what was on his shirt a while back - "Eat, Sleep, Suplex, Repeat". That's all he is, he's just a guy with three moves - Suplexes, F-5 and the occasional Kimura Lock. Moxley/Ambrose was also to blame as well, because the fact that they had those vignettes of Foley coming in, giving him the 2x4 barbed wire and then Funk come in and give him the chainsaw from his "chainsaw charlie" gimmick (which ironically, was used in the Finn Bálor entrance the night before on NXT Takeover lol).

@@GenGamesUniverse Dude the guy had match of the year competitors with Cena, CM Punk and Triple H since he came back. He started spamming suplexes because the marks made "suplex city" a thing. After that he stopped doing all the slams, powerbombs and throws and started spamming german suplexes because the marks went crazy for it. If you want to blame anybody for Lesnar becoming "lazy" then blame yourselves because Brock gave you exactly what you asked for.

The fact that Ambrose pitched the WM 32 match to be Brock squashing him and leaving him to do all the dangerous spots only to still be rejected tells me all I need to know about this situation. Yeah, Ambrose was Ambrose (the usual suspects online will harp on this) and Brock was Brock (the usual suspects will also harp on this) but WWE being WWE (not enough people harp on this, IMO) in making things way harder than they needed to be is what caused everything not to work.

Go watch Brock vs Bryan danielson, Brock vs Samoa Joe, Brock ve cm punk. And then Brock vs Moxley. There’s a reason he gave punk and Bryan danielson so much and made it look like they were gonna win at any second, and with Moxley it wasn’t even close. @@Flecha4991 Moxley seems to have taken this mentality to heart that anything ECW did he can personally do bigger and better, AEW is a very obviously sports entertainment stylized company and they follow the mold set by WWE, WCW, and TNA. By which I mean quick camera ques, pyro, bright lights, in house or licensed music, and a more mainline wrestling and promo style. Where as ECW was more gritty and raw, and obviously had a shoe string budget and what they lacked in funds they made up for with spontaneity and bloody gimmick matches. Moxley seems to think he’s still wrestling for CZW and PWG instead of a big league club like WWE (yes I’m being fair and calling AEW and TNA big league something many asshole fans wouldn’t want to do) and instead of wrestling that mainstream safe style Moxley what’s as much barbed wire, sugar glass, light tubes, and “death matches” he can possibly get. Something he doesn’t have to do anymore. It’s to the point Moxley blades so much and so often he bleeds even in normal matches, the skin on his forehead is just so thin it just opens up from a gust a wind anymore. He says his back is bad and he has the arthritis of a 60 year old man but then in his next breath talks about rockey 3 and how much of a bad ass he is and demands exploding ring matches, and blood and guts matches (that’s their name for war games but with barb wire) and it’s just not worth it. There’s this term “diminishing returns” well Moxley bleeds and used weapons in matches so much now that when he does it people just go “and there goes sponge Bob ripping his pants again 😒” because we’ve seen it so much.

Brock Lesnar is a professional LAZY wrestler.

Notice how Heyman never once addressed directly Brock’s side on why the match was bad. He could have given us Brock’s concerns, but instead he opted to talk about one crappy podcast Moxley did. That’s a pro bullshitter move. 😆

If ppl were listening.. Paul was staying in his kayfabe character... However he admitted in a way that Dean aka Jon moxley had to be the persona and do what he had to do because of Vince. And honestly, looking back at that interview - (I love Stone Cold) but he kinda made it awkward as well.

@@Carnage_Undead Imagine calling him lazy when he achieved so much and is a freak athlete. Brock is introverted, that plays a part in his attitude of coming and going quickly. Plus he doesn’t need to do many moves, ppl will still pay a lot to see him wrestle no matter what, Brock knows that. He was a special attraction back then.

Diverticulitis is no joke.. I almost died from it as well. Keep in mind mind was also one of the worst the ER docs had ever seen without specific issues coming into play.. They said regardless of those issues not coming into play they really believed that I would have been dead in anywhere from 30 min to a hour if I did not get in there for surgery when i did. Kind of makes me really regret toughing out that pain for as long as I did because of the amount of damage I suffered from it. Its caused a LOT of permanent damage to my body. The damn thing flares up every 6 months or so as well. Brock dodged a bullet there in more ways than one when he had it and got it taken care of almost right away.. For me I endured the pain for ever a week. ( 9 days to be specific ) Before I could not take it any more and had to go.. Though I think I kinda knew I was dying and that was part of the reason why I was willing to go to the ER. ( Keep in mind.. Each one of those days I had been throwing up blood, and it was getting worse, and worse basically. The throwing up part also came with its own damage that it did to my body. ) So .. Do not try to do what I did.. Go in asap when something goes wrong.
