I think your wish should be for KZread to go back to the non-monitization days, then. Back when the goal was not for everyone and their brother to make money.

Absolutely agree - not trying to sell anything or get people to know anything about him - a faceless teacher straight to the point -
As soon as I put my house on the market, the bathroom faucet started dripping. I started calling plumbers but they were all charging around $90 just to come out and then parts and labor on top of that. After watching your videos I was able to get a $6.00 replacement cartridge and fix it myself in about 10 minutes. Thank you thank you thank you so much! You saved me about $200, plus now I can brag about fixing my own drippy faucet😀
7 years later but this video helped me today so thank you for making it, keeping it up, and making the work to fix this easy. Thank you!!!!

Thank you so very much for this video! I am not a 'do-it-yourselfer' but by following your video this only took my 10 minutes from start to finish. God bless you for taking the time to upload. I'm sure this saved me $100's of dollars!

Good on you. Most of these around-the-house types of fixes for plumbing/electrical etc are a lot easier than they seem! Really all you need to be a do-it-yourselfer is KZread and a sliver of confidence! Oh and having the right tool for the job also helps a lot. ;P
Thank you very much. I would pay $350 for fixing if not seen your video. I fixed it for $4.84. You guys doing an awesome job.
Thank you so much for leaving this up. I appreciate your simple instructions for the average gal with no man in the house.

Awesome!
If you look at 2:17, you can see the drain is open while he is disassembling the faucet. I recommend keeping the drain closed or plugged during the process, because losing small parts or screws down the drain is a major nuisance, depending of course on how your faucets are constructed.
@doityourselfstan

I second that! Lose your parts down the drain, and you'll end up taking apart the P-trap or maybe even buying an entire new faucet.

Great to hear! Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much for this series of two videos! After watching it, we headed out to Lowe’s, got the right parts, and came home and fixed it in less than five minutes. You saved us an expensive service call and a lot of frustration after listening to a drip for two weeks straight.
My faucet cardridge came with an additional spring and rubber thing that needed to go in first before the cartridge. Took me a while to figure that out. Thanks for the video.
This was a HUGE help. Thank you for giving non-professionals the education to handle low skill work on their own!!! My pocket-book appreciates you more than you know!
This worked for me. Thank you sir. 😄 Helping single ladies help themselves
Thanks. I had never fixed a faucet before, and this made it so easy. No more drip!!
After watching this video I was able to remove the cartridge from my faucet, carefully took it apart, wipe everything off then reassembled it. Once I put it back in and tightened everything up the leak went away. Worth trying that first before you go and buy a new cartridge.

I am not a handy guy. Thanks to your two videos on fixing leaky sink faucets, I was able to fix one of mine over the weekend which had been dripping for a few weeks with increasing volume. Thank you for teaching me this repair. I couldn’t have done it without your help. It saved me a costly plumbing bill!

THANK YOU! Because of your excellent videos I fixed my faucet and no more drip!
Thx, Stan. You provided the concept so I pulled the old valve, then replaced the old valve and not leaking now. If it starts up leaking again then I'm ready mentally to pull it and match up an new one. Thank you again for uploading your tech skills.
holy crap that worked! lol! My cold water valve was seized, but my main line was easy to maneuver so I just turned off all the water in the house ran to Canadian Tire, showed the old man the part I needed and voila! No more leaks and happy water system! Thank you sir! I feel so proud of myself thanks to you lol!

Very helpful, thank you! I was about to pull out the entire fixture to see where to find that leaking washer, thanks to your video I realized I could simply pull out the cartridge from the top after removing the handle and nut (my fixture actually had 2 nuts on each cartridge). Saved me a lot of time and frustration!
Worked for me 👍 Hardest part was finding the exact matching replacement part

Awesome to hear! Thank you!
Just the faucet repair video I've been searching for! My kitchen faucet handle is just like this one, (I checked which side was leaking by shuting off ea. of the under sink valves, its my cold side leaking) of course, I figured the washers needed replacing, never dreamed they took cartilage. I had a handyman come out to check about making some small repairs for me & mentioned my leaky faucet & he tried to tell me I needed a complete faucet, uh, I said 'No,' This is only 10 yrs old, it a high curved faucet & its gold colored (paid a lot of money for this one). I think I can do it myself, just got to find if ACE hardware carries the cartilage. OH, thanks for the ending video....I would have still tried to use my cold water!! PS: I heard I should replace both sides as it will be a matter of time b4 the opposite side goes bad, whats your opinion? TY
Thanks to your video, I just repaired my leaky tap. Thank you so much!!!
Very well done! Excellent advice, presentation and demonstration! Thank you.
Thank you! Your step by step instructions were clear, and easy to follow.

This video helped my friends problem. He didnt believe me when I said "Ill fix all ya leaks." Not even paying attention to what the guy says either. Just self explanitory. Thanks friend
Awesome video, great explanation and no wasting time!!! Thank you sir!
Thank you so very much! I was able to fix my leak thanks to you.
Great video doityourselfstan, thank you! Parts 1 and 2 helped me fix my mom's Moen leaking hot water faucet. It's a Moen with diffferent handles but the steps are essentially the same. Only problem is the replacement cartridge I got from HD was ALL plastic (the original cartridge has brass inside) and was basically junk and didn't work. Put the original cartridge back in for the time being and hopefully I can find a Moen one online. At least I know the steps for replacement now. Thanks again!
Great video. Straightforward and east to follow!
Great video, excellent job! I just removed the stem, cleaned it up and put it back in and it worked for now :-)
Thank you so much. Your instructions were very clear.
Thank you very much, this was very helpful. I would’ve assumed that the cartridge was bad but after watching your vid and one other I was able to figure out that it was just the spring and cup which are only 1/5th the price.

Excellent video, you made it look easy, now I have to do mine.
Thanks for the Video! For my model, had to do an extra step of removing a small clip and flipping the top piece to get handle to turn in correct direction. If you have that problem, read instructions with part. Also, closing or covering the drain hole - smart idea.
Awesome your video helped me learn how to save myself money 💰 I was able to fix the leaky cartridge today

Perfect video concise and to the point thank you
i don't know if anyone's suggested this yet, but at 1:40 when you start disassembling the faucet, I recommend closing the drain with an integrated stopper (such as you have) or a rubber plug. Losing small parts and screws down the drain is a major nuisance.

Thank you so much! This was very helpful!
Thank you for this video! I knew mine was the cold water side because I was able to turn it to completely off and then back a little in the on direction, then the drip would stop. Now it drips faster and I need to fix it like in the video lol.
Thank you for this video
Good morning. This video is great! I was able to replace the cartridge to my cold water but not the hot. If I assemble the hot side after putting the washer back on it the entire cartridge seems to move. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong or if I just have to replace the whole thing. Thank you!
Thanks, very helpful!
Bro thank you you are a lifesaver
Awesome video thanks so much!
Thank you for posting this! My landlord kept ignoring my pleas to fix the faucet (we pay water so it was costing him nothing. And he didn't want to hire a plumber. See the cheap-ass pattern? Haha) And I was able to fix it myself thanks to your video.
Great video - Thanks for posting and saving me $100+...
This is a very helpful video. It had been so long since I have done this that I got every thing needed to make a repair. Thanks! Now...why do over 200 people find fault with a perfectly informative video, everything correct?

I’m a diy guy and man I’m going to try maintenance becuz I love learning thanks bro
I had a dripping hot water faucet and took the cartridge out. I found a small piece of wood lodged in it. I took the wood out and replaced the cartridge and the drip is gone. This video helped quite a lot in figuring out how to disassemble it and find the problem.
you're a sweetheart thanks for the videos!
Woke up this morning and the bath faucet is dripping. Hmmm. That's new. It's never done that before. Reach under sink and turn off both valves. Faucet still dripping. Oh fun. Have to replace the valves before I can fix the faucet... Needs doing anyway, they are multi turn, supposed to be quarter turn now according to the guy who recently did a whole house plumbing inspection for me... Hope the main shutoff to the house still works! Thanks for the great vid on the faucet though, this one looks just like the one I have.

Just yesterday, I went to replace the cartridge on my kitchen faucet and ran into the same problem! So I ended up having to replace the cold-water supply valve first. (Yes, I love the new quarter-turn valves!) Now, everything is back together and functioning just like it should!
Excellent!
It worked!!! Thank you!!!
Great video, thanks! Was able to use this information for a bathroom faucet in a new (to us) house. Now just have to figure out which cartridge it is. The faucet has no brand name on it anywhere, but works identically to the one in your video.
Thanks Stan!

Thanks for the video. I ran around looking for an off size O-ring for my no-name (I couldn't find it) faucet. 2 trips out to Menards and Home Depot.... only to come up empty. I decided to put the part back on...and to my amazement I noticed that if I clamped it down tighter the leaking slowed and then stopped. UGH! So, my advice would be to tell the people to try tightening the cartridge once they take the handle off before they even pull the cartridge out to see if that could be the problem.
Good stuff. thank you..
