I have always enjoyed teaching people things about the painting industry, just to show them that it doesn't have to be as complicated as it seems. By breaking a painting project down into smaller more manageable steps, you can also take on projects that you thought were not doable. I will be coming out with some new videos soon to walk you through step by step processes involved in a vast array of painting projects.

Thank you.
Thanks for the tips man! Oh and when should i apply a second coat of paint. I tend to what 10 to 15 min when surface feels dry and the hit it again. Or will this keep the first coat from drying. And this would be in norm temps and latex.

Ideally, you want to follow the manufacturers guidelines, but sometimes you gotta bend the rules a little.
This means I can finish!!!! Ha ha! I have this one side of trim that is bugging my eyes every time I look at it not finished.
What about a moisture meter?

Sorry.
You don’t paint in cold weather period. Most exterior paints latex and oil must be applied in atleast 50 degree weather and 72 hours of a sustainable temperature of 32 degrees. If you don’t your paint can bubble and peel and all your hard work for nothing. You can paint inside in the winter but most people don’t because they want their windows open. Bottom line is painting is a spring, summer and very early fall project. Never paint in the winter.
Ouch my ears
