Nice job with the video and the cg issues. All good information to have. I setup my flaps on flight modes and this way i can trim the plane in each setting of flaps works good for me. Nice p 47.

This plane is soo stable and fun to fly I find I didn't even use any of the Ft modes I had set up, the flap elevator mix is back to 0 on this bird and is soo stable I love the look of the corsair but I can't deny this things awesomeness

Very nice P-47. They put out a nice scale war bird line.

Agree, I have the 47 in the F4U I love to get the Mustang next, but funds don't dictate the ability to do so right now. So whenever maybe the T28 maybe but it's not my favorite. I just don't like the look of it as much. Thanks to checking out my video. Thanks for comment

😂Great job Pooley! You’ll be mastering this plane in no time! When I say I understand! Believe me! I flew my first 1.2 warbird in February 2023! It was scary. But trust me these are so easy once you get rid of safe and tweak your trim a bit you’ll love it. Btw, I only fly mine on 3200&4200 hi voltage packs and barely ever move from the front of the battery bay. The Corsair too. If it’s windy 6-10mph throw in a 4000 and you’ll love the speed and flight time. Keep up the nice work

Hey, thanks for watching. I am so excited that people are actually liking my videos. I thought I could provide some incites and details that no one else has. That I felt a void when I was starting and wish someone would have covered. I totally agree with you on that bird being easy going. In fact, I actually have 2 of them. I found someone selling a lot of birds and in the pictures. I could see a badly damaged P47. So I inquired about it. He ended up giving it to me really cheap. I flew it just like that. At least a 100 flights as well as everybody else in my club. So I love the wide stance of the landing gear. The flaps it is a lovely bird to fly. That's why I got the brand new version of it. Because I know I love it already In reference to safe. I love safe. But I do turn it off. As a matter of fact, the first thing I do in a maiden flight is get it up high enough. Click it off so I can trim it once it's trimmed. They usually fly around the whole flight without safe and I'll come in with safe if I feel nervous about crosswinds. In reference to the battery I just happen to love the 2200s Ive got 3 of them However, I have a couple of the 3200s and that's it in 4S that I have thus far as far as the weight I would agree with you, though. It seems a bit light with the 2200 in any cross wind at all. The extra weight would be great..

@@Pooley929 sounds like you’re growing and having fun! Love it. Can I suggest stepping into the 1400 size from fms ? The t-28 and P-40 will blow your mind with how much better the experience is. Smoother more agile in wind and buttery smooth acro & landings. When I get time I’ll post a ton of flights with them. ✌🏽

That is from the glue holding the gear bays in. As the glue dries, it expands and bumps up the foam. That happened to one of mine when I glue the gear back in.

You can select a switch with “special function” and create an audio event to get the battery voltage from the lipo. very convenient. I use this on my spektrum nx8, or radiomadter tx16s

Hey, thanks for the comment. That is a good idea for an video. People would want to know about that. I don't use it myself. I just like to look down at my custom screens. That I have set up, for individual cell voltages but that would be cool to do a video of the set up thanks

So the CG should be at 80mm back with the 2200 4S ?

Id say yes but that would only be my opinion, but I will say that this plane is not very picky and even when I think its tail heavy it still flies great and lands gently Ive tried the 2200mAh as well as the 3200mAh in all types of positions and never had an issue. I LOVE the 2200 battery it goes in so many planes its my go to battery.

Financially safe is your best friend but skill wise it will make you the worst pilot. Use it as a tool !!! Not a crutch 🩼!!!! Or you’ll never get the full experience of piloting

If you look at some of my videos you will see that I have stated that many times I can fly fine now but it's mostly due to SAFE A lot of old school guys really hate on it because they didn't have it to start and their experts now. But I can tell you not having it 20 years ago, ran me out of the hobby. When I pop back in and I'm very into. Technology, so it was interesting to me. I tried it and it works.
