Overnight In Remote Cabin
I went "camping" up a winding mountain road in an #oldcabin. It was available to use on a first-come first-served basis. An amazing little lake and 2 little campsites were just perfect for me for the night. Mosquitoes were horrible, but in the #remotecabin was cozy and mosquito free for most of the night.

@@raven4k998 Not funny, I didn't laugh. Your joke is so bad I would have preferred the joke went over my head and you gave up re-telling me the joke. To be honest this is a horrid attempt at trying to get a laugh out of me. Not a chuckle, not a hehe, not even a subtle burst of air out of my esophagus. Science says before you laugh your brain preps your face muscles but I didn't even feel the slightest twitch. 0/10 this joke is so bad I cannot believe anyone legally allowed you to be creative at all. The amount of brain power you must have put into that joke has the potential to power every house on Earth. Get a personality and learn how to make jokes, read a book. I'm not saying this to be funny I genuinely mean it on how this is just bottom barrel embarrassment at comedy. You've single handedly killed humor and every comedic act on the planet. I'm so disappointed that society has failed as a whole in being able to teach you how to be funny. Honestly if I put in all my power and time to try and make your joke funny it would require Einstein himself to build a device to strap me into so I can be connected to the energy of a billion stars to do it, and even then all that joke would get from people is a subtle scuff. You're lucky I still have the slightest empathy for you after telling that joke otherwise I would have committed every war crime in the book just to prevent you from attempting any humor ever again. We should put that joke in textbooks so future generations can be wary of becoming such an absolute comedic failure. I'm disappointed, hurt, and outright offended that my precious time has been wasted in my brain understanding that joke. In the time that it took I was planning on helping kids who have been orphaned, but because of that you've wasted my time explaining the obscene integrity of your terrible attempt at comedy. Now those kids are suffering without meals and there's nobody to blame but you. I hope you're happy with what you have done and I truly hope you can move on and learn from this piss poor attempt

Wow - what an awesome site for a cabin on a quiet remote lake, perfect setting, so peaceful. I'm very impressed that visitors have the utmost respect for the place, no destruction, share what they bring in by leaving it behind. It's stocked pretty well and nice that no one helps themselves by taking what's not theirs. Very nice place and adventure.
I agree, that is beautiful and a good place to just unwind. You know my Dad had three wives in his life who all passed before him. My birth Mother died at 28 and I was 12. For the first year I was just numb and I guess I was coping with it the best I knew how. It wasn't until a year after she died that I cried. Dad married a widow with two boys of her own and Dad had me and my adopted sister. They adopted each other kids so she was no longer my Step-Mom - she was my Mom. I say all this to say the 1st anniversary is coming next month and I know you are aware of just how hard that is going to be, but we love you Steve.

Well meowmix3909, thank you :)
I genuinely at this point enjoy steve just camping more than the stealth videos. Now, don't get me wrong, i love the stealth vids i hope you keep doing them, but just seeing you enjoying some step 2's and cooking up some food with crazy neighbor or whoever is awesome. You bring a lot to the table it's very relaxing. My 2 favorite videos are the treehouse with crazy neighbor when you decked it out with lights and the blanket fort :) Thank you for continuing to upload given what you've been through in the past year. I look forward to your videos every week. Thank you brotha

I agree, and the billboard video was hilarious!
Steve, you are a kind man. We should all be like you when visiting campsites, keep them clean, take out any trash and if you can leave something needed.
I think Steve should stealth camp in a cornfield somewhere. One with an opening deep in the center. That’d be awesome.

That place is so beautiful, you are lucky you got the cabin. It's always the mosquitoes that ruin it all. Thanks for sharing your outing.
While I have not been following and supporting as long as some other people, watching your videos truly touches the heart. I love the idea of the cabin enjoying nature leaving something for the next person. I'm sure beautiful wife was smiling down on you with this one!

@campingwithsteve Steve you're a legend❤ don't ever give up 😌
I was having a bad day. Then I started watching the new episode of Camping with Steve. Now I'm having a good night. Thank you Steve
12:15 D.B. Cooper was in attendance at one time... Hahahaha Cool !
Wow...A Settlers of Catan Board Game. Now that would be cool to play, while staying there.
The pride and respect that Steve shows for the places he finds and go never faults, that’s worth a mention before we even get to how incredible this find and camp was/is. We all now have to wait another week for the next video, it’s going to be a loooooooong week. All the best

Bro I know things are rough right now and yes that's an understatement but look man 70K views in 2hrs. Does that tell you just how many people care about you and your awesome adventures!?? Hope you great luck and nothing less!
I love that he drinks Lucky like I do. 😂
“I knew I heard *something* , I wasn’t sure if it was a frog ribbiting or a grizzly bear . . . it was frogs” 😆😂🤣
Those serene shots of the still cabin, lulled by the solitary guitar strumming. You've captured the moment perfectly, Steve. Thank-you so much for sharing that with us.

Are you a physically disabled person?
Holy Moley. That cabin is a testament to Canadian courtesy. That's unbelievable.
“Strum’n an’ Pluck’n an’ Eat’n Burritos” is ABSOLUTELY a Steve Wallis album I would buy. I can’t imagine anything better for camping/boating/houseboating 🙂

“I’ve Said It Before, and I’ll Say It Again” is a classic, but “It Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This” will always be my personal favorite track from that album. 🙂
You got the voice that you should be hosting a weekly show.....THE CAMPER WITH THE GOLDEN VOICE
This has to be one of the most beautiful spots you've been able to camp, Steve. Absolutely fantastic. Glad you were able to stay safe from the bears!
We have these in Scotland, called bothies. A small house made of stone and often very old. They are all over the highlands, some you have walk several hours to reach. There’s fire wood by the fireplace, beds, some people leave non perishable foods or even books. They’re great to have especially if you’re a hiker. And sometimes you have to share with strangers but you always leave as friends.
Steve we miss you! Can't wait for you to upload more videos!! Angel & Taz
What a great and cozy video Steve. Thank you so much for keeping on through all the recent tests life has thrown at you these past 2 years... That place is a little slice of paradise and I'm glad you shared with us.
I love that you are the real deal. You are transparently the man that you are….an honest good guy, with a great big heart and a wonderful moral compass. I love your uploads. You’ve been a comfort to me in the years since my husband passed away. Thank you for sharing your camping adventures. I know we have never met but you feel like an old friend from the past. Here’s to the next step two! ❤
Once you thought Steve can't deliver anymore... he strikes once again! Thank you, Sir, for the beautiful experience!

Hey Steve, just want you to know how much I enjoy all of your videos. The stealth camping, cabin stuff, doesnt matter. I watch for you and how calm and chill you are. Its like listening to an older guy at work share wisdom.
This has to be the most Canadian thing I have ever seen on this channel - a bunch of folks working together to keep that place clean and livable when there isn't anyone around for days at a time? Wow. That really is an almost magical cabin, too. That view - I can see why a person wouldn't want to leave. It's a gorgeous area. As for the bear concerns, those are perfectly valid. You don't mess with bears, so that's probably an ideal phobia to have if you camp in bear country.
This is one of my favorite camping videos you've done so far. The scenery is so beautiful, the cabin is just really cool, and well kept. That would be a great place to live if it stayed just like that!
Hi Steve love watching your videos. Look really lovely there. . It’s nice to see places where you go .
Steve. Even without the sharpie marker and the stickers , We all know you have been here. I love you pal. You got me through hard hard times and the internet and I think the world of you.
Two months ago I had no idea this channel existed and now I watch every upload religiously. Grade A wholesome content for sure.

Welcome 😊 glad you're enjoying the videos
Steve, I used your videos as a tool for a pretty rough go lately. Lost my grandmother who took care of me my whole life, and who I’ve been taking care of for the last few years around the same tome you were dealing with loss yourself. You showed me that it doesn’t have to ruin your life. Then through withdrawals from alcohol and opioids. I can’t let you take credit for my hard work getting through, but it was always your videos I’d turn too when I needed to clear my thoughts and cravings. A thousand thank you’s and love from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. aka. The eastern Vancouver Island 😂
