These monologues are so much better then stupid joke after stupid joke on a lot of other late night shows.

Probably because he is a professional stand up comedian. You can really tell the difference when you put this up against other talk show dudes

Pete, I just want to say thank you for your show. :) I know you probably won't ever see this comment, but still thank you. After a particularly rough/long day (that involved a car accident in which I landed in a ditch, but no injuries YAY! :D), it is so comforting and relaxing to be able to just come home, kick back, relax, unwind, and watch your incredible show. :) You always make me smile and I'm so grateful for the work that you do. Oh also, you seem like a really genuinely nice person and are super, super hot. So there's that. :) But really, all I want to say is thank you. So thank you very much, Mr. Pete Holmes. :) You do good work and I am very grateful. :)

This. Exactly this. Pete is the absolute fucking best and the fact that he has a show is one of the few sources of legitimately (and solely) positive emotion I can think of. He's just such an incredibly nice person, and there's hundreds of hours of You Made It Weird, his stand-up, and this show proving it.

WackyTobac By the way, TJ Miller just did an AMA on Reddit and, like, 10% of the posts were simply DENVER, YEAAAAAHHHHHHHH in reference to Pete parodying him. It was AWESOME.

As a child I often thought my parents were over planning. But Pete's examples really put it into perspective. Also I love that the fries are made by Minnie.

That’s what I was thinking. If this is the one time your family gets to go, you want to pack as much into it as possible, as there may never be a next time.

I really love how Pete’s monologue wasn’t about what was going on in the news or current events like most late night shows, it was him actually doing an actual comedy monologue, it’s a funny ride but there is also a takeaway from everything he says.

I avoid over planning vacations by vacationing at my own friggin' home. I'm not saying that you shouldn't go see the world in all of its natural wonder. I simply will never understand people that can't enjoy a good staycation.

If you don't plan out every minute of a theme park minute, you suck at life. More planning MEANS more fun. Planning means you see and experience more, and waste less time walking and waiting.

I love when he is like “you know many rides I average on a trip to Disney World? 2...” like some people go there once ever, they don’t have the luxury of enough trips to have an average number of rides. I know I’m nitpicking and he makes a lot of good points about enjoying the experience and understanding that there are lines and everything is expensive but the idea of being so casual about going to the happiest place on earth irks me.
