I always love your reactions. Here, Angelina gives us a sincere, compassionate, HEARTFELT, rendition. It was a perfect, elegant example of making a plea for all to show you care. At age 6-7, she took the shoes off her own feet to give them to an orphan sitting on a dusty street in the Middle East, charging people to stand on her scale.. after their brief conversation, Angelina was deeply impacted by that encounter... She demonstrated that it's one thing to SYMPATHIZE with a less fortunate person... But, Angelina took it another level and showed COMPASSION... By taking off the shoes from her feet & gave them to that girl... Vowing to always sing barefoot as a tribute to all the children in need around the world. She even donated the winnings from Norway's Got Talent to Children's Charities... AJ can perform a Capella, or with one or two instruments to follow her lead and give you chills with each performance. I have always enjoyed all genres of music, and being 75, I have experienced the best the industry has to offer, from the early 50s, to 2023, but I have never been moved emotionally in the past anywhere close to what Angelina Jordan does from 7 to 17. When I heard Celine Dion perform in a tint in Québec when she was a child, I predicted she would be the next world superstar, and the rest is history. Celine did not sign a record contract until she was in her early 20s. David Foster, who made Celine a star flew to Norway after Angelina wone NGT and tried to sign her, but her family wanted to stay in control of her future. Angelina, at 13, appeared on AGT and getting worldwide recognition signed with the largest record company in the world at age 14, Republic Records. The story is that Monty Lipman, the CEO personally signed her even without meeting AJ, he was shown a video of her performance. Angelina Jordan will be the next Super Nova very soon. It's very sad indeed. Thankfully we have home schooled our sons since the beginning. Times like these make us very thankful to have each other and have connection we have with each other. 💜💚

I would like to remind once again what is special about this spectacular performance. Angelina received an invitation to this official event *"virtual visit from Crown Prince Haakon of Norway to the state of California"* , which was held in this form because of the pandemic. Angelina's live performance was part of this event via *Livestream* . The Thank you at the beginning was adressed to the king's son and to the foreign minister, who represented the Norwegian government on this virtual royal visit.

Good seeing you guys back with Angelina. She has so much to offer in her music. Still amazes me how much some parts of her MJ songs actually sound like MJ. No doubt she has learned some of his vocal qualities to add to her musical tool bag. Love this one with the vocal quivering (wrong label I know) heard in some places. She was a teen then, mostly grown up. The ages from 8-12 seemed to be exceptional developmental years vocally. Many consider her 10 year old recording of a new song she was asked to demo to be her best song to that date and beyond. It was an exceptional song in every way, an amazing collaboration between song writer Baby FuzZ, and singer. Like many of the jazz and blues songs she's done, it captures the emotions of yearning love, disappointment, struggling, aching heart, distress, and despair. It is impossible for me to pick a "BEST" song, because I think they are all amazing, but Yes, "I'm Still Holding Out For You" is definitely one of the top recordings. It amazes me as to how much feeling and emotion she puts in this song, almost as though she actually lived through it, and maybe she has in one of her lives. If pressured to pick a favorite, I always reply, "The last one I heard her sing". 😉

​@@RNTV The song was never released by Angelina and is considered "leaked". Speculation is that it is due to the subject matter. This was a 'demo' recording she did before the artist Baby FuzZ ever performed it. This phenomenal performance is one of my Angelina's favorites. The greatest global megahit that never was.

Great reaction Mike & Jess, you really should watch the original, especially since the theme is what you stand for. Although she used a voice similar to Michael, especially at the beginning, she made this very much her own, telling the story in her heartfelt, emotional way. I think that beautiful "ad lib" run at the very end, was Angelina's way of signing this beautiful work of art. Try to replicate that!!!

The penetration she is able to accomplish by utilizing her 'jazz roots' is truly mesmerizing. Michael did it 'Pop' style and was exceptional. But this girl is embedded with the essence of Billie Holiday and when it comes to singing a heartfelt ballad, Billie's 'breathy', 'whisper-like' techniques are something only Angelina can emulate. She has stated that if not for Billie, she wouldn't be the singer she is and this is a perfect illustration of that.

There is no better anthem for these troubled times, and there is no better singer to express it.

You guys captured the essence of the song and the performance. You stand for what all of the angels stand for, and that is peace and love. Michael Jackson embraced that when he wrote this, and not mentioned in your reaction is that Angelina made a vow when she was a child that she wanted to sing for the world to spread love and peace. She has a new single coming out later this month. It’s supposed to be an original. I believe it is taken from her new album that will be released later this year. Per Angelina, the album will be all originals and have a retro 60s vibe and it will be her first for Republic Records. It’s her first album since It’s Magic which was released 5 years ago. I understand that the release will be followed by concert performances. Can’t wait.
