Hi Abbie, it's hard to believe that Angelina wrote this at 11 years old and was performing at 12. To me it sounds like it belongs at an old piano jazz bar. Great comment and I'm sure I'll be seeing you around! Peace and love.

What is life Is there really anything simple about Angelina’s hypnotic signature voice and her ability to make you feel each word? Once you have experienced the total being of Angelina, she occupies the depts of your mind in a special place that only she has the key to inter. Why listen to any other performer, perhaps; if only to realize how great AJ is in comparison.

Thanks, guys! Always nice to stop by when you're doing another Angelina reaction. She sang this beautifully and it was very noticeable how her voice was developing. The lyrics were genuinely Angelina's and I want to take this opportunity to say something about all her performances. Angelina isn't motivated by singing 'to' people. Rather, she is motivated singing 'for' people. Be it the rearrangement of a cover or an original, every note, every word has her stamp on it as she is telling us the story of the song. Do we feel good listening to her? Do we believe there is hope if we are lost a bit? Has her love entered our heart? Have we noticed if we are acting differently since we discovered her? Specifically, nicer? Everything I just mentioned are examples of her wanting to give us her positive thoughts and her interpretations of songs which highlight those kind of messages. (Often times, when she does covers she changes the rotation of the lyrics and even slows the tempo because she feels she can emphasize the beauty of certain passages in the song more than in the original version. Mike, you said it best when the video was coming to an end when you said, "Thank you, Angelina!" That's exactly my point.

Her smile is part of her plot and spell casting to get you to love her. That's what she does. She sings, she smiles and makes you love her.

Her voice is so smooth and gentle here, and those runs at the end should win an award! I'm so glad you guys chose to react to this song. Such a little miracle!

It is a beautiful jazzy song! Angelina sings it wonderfully and the pianist and the guitarist are doing a great job as well. The lyrics are age appropriate (though a little deeper than the run of the mill teen) and still thought provoking. I especially like the lines ‘Perhaps life’s just a memory, we come, we see, we go’. She has 4 more originals by her own hand and is featuring in two other originals through collaboration. If you need a list, let me know!

She is jazz; It's in her D&A, thanks to her dear Grandmother, who helped raise her by listening to great Jazz singers when Angelina was still a Baby. Like Angelina, her Grandmother was also a child prodigy which explains their deep devotion to each other. Guys, thank you both for a trip back to Angelina's musical beginning.

This is the most beautiful view into Angelina's character, mind and heart. The innocence and simplicity of the things she values make the lyrics extraordinary. Going to school, hanging out with her Grandma and her Lil Sis ("after all, she's the love of my life"), playing her piano... It's TRULY a picture of who she is, caring, acutely aware of immaterial things that generate love, gratitude and happiness... Angelina truly "shines bright like a star in the darkest night". And she weaves it all together in those melismas (runs) and blues sound... There TRULY is so much to admire, care and love about her genuine soul... She captivates our hearts, gives it a big hug, and THAT smile with a sweet "BYE"... She's been gifted by God, and her impact is immeasurable.
