Guys, Angelina recorded this demo song written by Brandon Lowry, aka Baby Fuzz, who later recorded his own version. The demo "I'm Still Holding Out For You" was Leaked on KZread by someone other than Angelina's Management? However, Angelina's vision is better than Baby Fuzz's original release, which didn't climb the charts. The controversy didn't damage Angelina's relationship with Brandon Lowry and his Management continues to support Angelina's career.

Angelina recorded this demo on January 3, 2017 which was 7 days before her 11th birthday! This great song was written by Brandon Lowry, aka Baby Fuzz, who later recorded his own version. We don't know why Angelina's team didn't pursue releasing this incredible performance. I like to believe, her team knew it would become a huge hit and they didn't want that pressure on 11 year old Angelina. Thankfully, everyone involved with this demo is ok with this "Leaked" version being on KZread.

Stargate and Baby Fuzz had legal issues, Damn shame, because of one guy's ego and greed, this was never permitted for Angelina to release. IMO, this song BELONGS to Angelina Jordan.

Baby Fuzz said that he never had contact with the family of Angelina Jordan. he could have banned the song on youtube and still could, but he keeps letting it. on-line. so from my side a big thank you to Baby Fuzz, because otherwise this great song would never have been introduced to us

A demo is a way for a musician to approximate their ideas in a fixed format, such as cassette tape, compact disc, or digital audio files, and to thereby pass along those ideas to record labels, producers, or other artists. Also to other band members. So it is possible that this was never meant to released but since it was so good someone leaked it.

This is one of the best out there... Quick background is, she was asked to demo this track from the Song Writer. For whatever reason the results weren't released. But someone associated with the writer's group leaked it (presumably cause it had to be heard). A fan downloaded the audio, before there was a small controversy and the audio was taken down. She was a week or 2 shy of her 11th birthday when she sang this. A year and a half went by before the Fan made a video appeared. That's why you can see some shots of Angelina at 12 years old (Shield) in this video. Babyfuzz the writer actually released the song as his own after Angelina's recording was made. So in some ways it's not even a cover.

Some controversy exists about Brandon Lowry asking Angelina to demo this song. Someone posted a quote from him saying he was unaware until after he released his version. This is fully possible, because his co-writers on the song were Angelina’s co-writers on Shield, which she was recording around the time she recorded this.

Some say Angelina's family balk3d at releasing this because suicide wasn't an appropriate subject for a ten year old. In my opinion, this is a never released top ten hit ..

@@hdctx The suicide argument seems to be a week one, because she sang several covers about suicide, and Lowry said the song is about a different topic, despite using a metaphor that could illustrate a suicide.

Angelina sang this as a demo - the video put together by a fan who some how got hold of the recording. The song was never released, there are many stories regarding why, but it escaped and we can marvel at how a 10 year old can sing a song like this. Nearly all the pictures and clips are from when Angelina was 10 years old, there is a little taken from a TV show in 2018 when she was 12. That's when this video was put together and finally escaped. Oh, the clip of her clambering up the hill and hugging the Moon, that was from a video of fly me to the Moon, back in 2016 in desert in SW USA. I just wonder what she will be giving us when she is 20 years old

Nice reactions, you have only scratched the surface of one of the best singers at any age. You need to react to 'I Put a Spell on You', her cover of the 1956 original by the first shock jock ever, Screamin' Jay Hawkins in which she channels him directly. It's where most reactors begin. You will by stunned by the 9 year old's arrangement. If you continue from there watching her, she has over 170 covers which will make you fall on the floor. I would then continue with all 4 of her perfomances on Norways Got Talent, which she won at age 7-8.

She’s 10 years old! She was asked to make a demo for Baby Fuzz’s new song, and this is it. I feel sure she arranged it as well. Her mother thought it was advocating suicide, so she wouldn’t let it be released. However, Baby Fuzz heard it, and it seems obvious that he used her demo for his own version. Much later, it appeared on YT. Many Angels feel this is her best song, and considering her age, I would have to agree.

Yes most likely shot at the Salton Sea which is east of Los Angeles.

I think word had it that Angelina's mom thought the lyrics were about suicide( part where she holds her head underwater) but once it got out it was out. I expect now that she is 17 we may hear her sing it again.

There is an interesting back story to this gem, sung when Angelina was 10 years old. Angie's fans think that this is one of her best vocals and if it had been released would have charted well. In a nutshell, BabyfuzZ, a well-known and successful songwriter, wrote this with a few buddies at a songwriting camp. He shopped it around to his clients and got no takers then sent the music and lyrics out to a number of singers to make a demo. His buddies had worked with Angelina so sent it to her too. Ten-year-old Angelina did this rendition but BabyfuzZ denies ever hearing it and maybe the other singers did not do it. Angelina's version somehow got released on KZread a couple of years later but was immediately taken down. BabyfuzZ recorded his version about a month after Angelina's got leaked. It did not do well. A fan kept a copy of hers, though, and produced this video with newer images. It is not clear why Angelina did not release it but the suicide references at the end or copyright issues are suspect. Anyway, Angelina was the first to sing and record this beautiful song. Is there anything she can't do?

Hi, friends, this time we bumped into something deadly serious. I mean the lyrics and the way the song was performed. This time it's not about sweet Angelina, although the pictures may try to keep us in such mood. Her performance is outwordly stunning and shocking. It really goes deep down into the core of our hearts. Truly dramatic song. Normally it is absolutely not possible to see her pictures when, she was 10 when she sang it, and listen to the way she sings. Soulful and mature and so much serious. there are many rumours. It's actually her song because she sang it first, but only as a demo. I think it's quite simple, the song would have gone through the roof and for her 10 years on this song and the way she is protected by her family it would have been too soon with the hype that followed and as mentioned would have been without a record deal it would have been difficult to release this song and only others would have benefited from it. but that's just a guess on my part

This for me is definitely one of the songs (you can't call them covers, such personal interpretations) most representative of her musical baggage, she has made a really fantastic version of it, with superb register changes and tone. This was the fifth or sixth performance I saw after seeing the NGT and then the AGT performances. It stunned me to tears, how does a ten year old sing with such soul.

Most feel this would have been a huge hit, had her mom allowed it to be released, for it is uniquely different than anything she had ever done with her sounding not like a 10 year old, but a seasoned, adult 'Jazz' singer on the order of her idol Billie Holiday. Rumor had it that her mom didn't like a phrase at the end that had a drowning like suicide connotation to it and didn't feel it was appropriate for a 10 year old.

Great reaction, i have read some where that the reason it was not released by her family is the lyrics talking about drowning, suicide. it was felt not right for a 10 yr old to sing. so it was never released. But it is one of the best songs i have heard from her amongst 200 others she has covered and of course all her own songs.

Exactly Abbie. We’ve know this for years of course, but recently her expanding creativity (vocally and otherwise) are on full display. Improvements can be seen almost on a monthly basis.

10 years old. Everybody look to "Bohemian rhapsody" and "I put spell on you", that are without doubt high level art interpretations, but this..? God save the barefoot Princess!!

Given that her parents wanted her to have a normal childhood. If this had been released when she was 10 there would have been no holding the tide back.

Hi, This I believe is one of Angelina's best. It was leaked before it could be stopped because the song turned out to be about suicide. You are right about some of the photos of her. They try to imitate the photos of the late 19th and early 20th century. The original cover was written and sung by aka Baby Fuzz. You should google his commercially made music video because there is no comparison. A ten year old girls interpretation totally kills it.

The song that almost wasn't... Brandon Lowry, aka Baby FuZz, wrote this song. He asked his friends who he should send it to, for a demo. They said Angelina. At 10, she recorded this demo for Lowry. It wasn't, because it's theme contained suicide ideation that didn't fit the picture her parents had for their 10 year old to be releasing. Their it had lapsed for at least 2 years, never destined for release. Had it not been for someone who had access to the demo, leaking it, we wouldn't be hearing it today. A fan made the masterful montage of still frames and lyrics to go with this masterpiece performance. We know that at least 2 years passed since the demo was made as it was accompanied by the video of her singing Shield at 12 years old.

It’s only marked leaked because it was only intended as a demo, but it’s so good that the people that made the demo released it on KZread. By the way, she’s 10!

Still, the rumor is Angelina's mother didn't like the ending lyrics referencing suicide and the demo cut was not released. Later the demo was pirated from Angelina, and pictures were added and put online at the same time Baby Fuzz released the song, causing some confusion. Still, rumor has it that all parties agreed to leave Angelina's pirated cut on U-tube.
