Excellent, and she is 15. You want to get your mind blow even more, you know being a vocal coach how hard and how much more energy it takes when you sing sitting down. Check out Angelina covering Eta James, "I'd rather go blind", she is sitting on the couch, but not only sitting, but leaning forward, singing an epic performance at the age of 13. God Bless!

Yeah, about that last riff. There's so much to love about Angelina's vocals I feel like her breath control gets overlooked. That breathy tone itself takes an enormous amount of air. Combine it with a long run and it's near miraculous. I imagine if she wanted to take up free diving as a hobby she'd be a natural. Love your reactions, but for a better take on Angelina's continued growth I'd suggest her cover of Adele's Easy on Me.

e pluribus u-num With all the gimmicks that are used in what is known as music today it is so refreshing to come across a being that does not need auto tune, lightshows, dancers, outrageous costumes, bands, or orchestras to cover their weaknesses because she has none. AJ can perform a Capella, or with one or two instruments to follow her lead and give you chills with each performance. I have always enjoyed all genres of music, and being 75, I have experienced the best the industry has to offer, from the early 50s, to 2023, but I have never been moved emotionally in the past anywhere close to what Angelina Jordan does from 7 to 17. When I heard Celine Dion perform in a tint in Québec when she was a child, I predicted she would be the next world superstar, and the rest is history. Celine did not sign a record contract until she was in her early 20s. David Foster, who made Celine a star flew to Norway after Angelina wone NGT and tried to sign her, but her family wanted to stay in control of her future. Angelina, at 13, appeared on AGT and getting worldwide recognition signed with the largest record company in the world at age 14, Republic Records. The story is that Monty Lipman, the CEO, and known as the Star Maker, personally signed her even without meeting AJ, he was shown a video of her performance. Angelina Jordan will be the next Super Nova very soon. As for being her biggest fan, e pluribus u-num.

Usually some people need explanations about what just occurred after listening to Angelina. Not in your case. Of course your technical savvy is top notch but you cannot hide your facial expressions which indicate the extreme joy you get listening to her. It's a pleasure tuning into one of your Angelina video's.

Angelina was 15 in this video, she'll turn 16 next January. She got a mic with similar qualities for her 12th birthday, the performances she recorded at home with it at 12/13 are still one of my favorites.The vocal depth she's been adding to Adele or Lana del Rey - just gorgous.

Angelina is the Master of the "whisper voice". I know of no other singer that can make that Beautiful sound the way she can. And her runs/riffs are Magic; never gratuitous and always absolutely Perfect. Thank you Scott, for a wonderful analysis of her talent. The riff at the end is where, in Michael's version, there is a chorus of children singing. Since Angelina is solo, she just adds the riff, but you're right. nice reaction. I doubt Angelina does any mistakes on her performances. Her super power is her vocalization. I can hear every single syllable. She is always doing something. Angelina is 15 years old now (Jan 2021). probably was 14 on this performance.

Glad to see you doing Angelina again---and I wouldn't have chosen this one. Maybe if you're a M Jackson fan. Why not do her cover of I'd Rather Go Blind or her new original piece 7th Heaven? And yes, she's got so much breath she can be generous with it, just do a phrase, a run, and go right into the next phrase without even stopping. Always good to hear you.

The thing about impossible is, that if you don't tell them something can't be done, they often just do it. She's never been told what isn't possible, consequently, she just figured out how to do what she wanted on her own. That's why her sound is unique. No-one would ever teach someone to do the things she does.

Would love your analysis of "FEELING GOOD, Live on the Stream Gir Tilbake" with a full jazz orchestra and televised live on national TV in Norway at 10 years old. Another live performance is with Alan Walker and a full blown orchestra on stage performance of 2 songs of his: Sing Me To Sleep and Faded also at 10 years old streamed live worldwide in front of a large audience.
