Nice work! The multilayer (or dual) board makes it look so simple! I was building a stereo sampler from a Finnish Commodore magazine at school, that means early 90's. Some things didn't "align", there were some issues and I never finished it. Should continue with it especially when I haven't had an idea for years where did I lose the only commercial sampler I ever bought. My sampler project needs to address issues like switching to op amp that works correctly on single 5V (I have a bunch now), get an angled D connector and so on. Case? Don't have a 3D printer but that's not a big issue.
Hey man! Nice project!! Please let me know when you have one for selling. Cheers
Are you still making these?
Hi! Just ordered all the parts for this. Just recently started soldering. What I don't understand is how to solder the DB25 connector directly on the PCB. There are cups on it and as far as I know these are for soldering wires into, not for soldering directly on a PCB. If anyone can point me in the right direction on how to do this, I will appreciate it very much.

Great work here! I would like to purchase one. What sort of price was you thinking for this and could you provide a link to the site for purchase??

Hi! Thanks for the nice comment and apologies for the lack of reply 😅 It has taken a while to get everything sorted and ready but I am currently waiting for my listing to be approved on Lectronz. The listing should appear here: lectronz.com/products/open-amiga-sampler when it goes live!

@@smartroadbiker great stuff, thanks!
How does this compare to DSS?

Probably not well lol I don't know much about the DSS. This is a low cost device using off the shelf components and little in the way of power regulation from the Amiga. Personally I find it works well and sounds okay for 8bit and it's low-ish sample rate, but then my ears are not that young anymore!
Could you write dimension of your case. Im finishing my AOS but want to fit into universal case and want to know x,y,z. Thanks

$250 dollars. No thanks.

Thanks for commenting. Not sure where you got the $250 from? I didn't mention prices at all. The PCBs can be brought for a few dollars and the other parts it uses a basically commodity so not thay much. I'd say you would be looking at around $40 or so for the sample and a bit more to print the case.
