Actually, when Agadmator said to find a move, I spotted it almost right away because that's the only move that can save the queen so it's easy. One of the things overlooked in Tal's career is that he qualified to play for the title after winning a candidates tournament. After that FIDE went to candidates matches and Tal never qualified again. Tal was better in tournament play than he was in match play. Few if any can match his tournament results.

Hay man I alway enjoy your videos, congratulations on the effort and result ! I haven't seen this game too, very, very interesting one indeed. One thing I noticed: Rf6, played in the final puzzle in your video .. actually I think Rh3 is even better instead, as now Q:h6 with last rank mate is really inevitable (Kh7 - R:g7+; Ng5 - R:g5)

Wow. Tal was casually brutal. Keres had no idea what was coming (and neither did I - that goes without saying). The queen and two rooks somehow took absolute control. 'The best defense is a strong offense' has always been the motto.

In my experience, strictly as an amateur chess player, it's one thing to outplay your opponent and be in a somewhat "won" position, and proceed from there and actually checkmate your opponent. After you get the winning position, you cant mentally let down on your level of play. Your opponent goes into a defensive strategy. You could make the claim that a winning position isnt necessarily going to be an easy win.
