I think the reason I love this version of the song more than the other ones is because of Deana Carter's noticeable southern twang on the "r"s, and the fact that while Deana never had the strongest voice in music, it fits this song absolutely perfectly.

I liked this song over the film version. Feels like a more... complete song.

That's because it is. The movie soundtrack version, sung by Liz Callaway (why they didn't have Deana do the soundtrack one is beyond me) is a little more than 2 1/2 minutes, while this is nearly a full minute longer.

My favorite version! I sang it to my kids when they were babies

I’ve always loved how this melody can turn into the Harry Potter theme song effortlessly. Brilliant.

listened to this over and over again as a kid, was obsessed with the guitar solo and played along with my guitar :) love it!

The movie version is timeless but I also love this version. One of the best musical pieces ever

i remember when they would actually play this during Christmas, kinda like how they play Let It Go nowadays. has nothing to do with the holiday, but gods is it still a beautiful tune. by far one of my all time faves x3

Really, this has been around as long as the movie has.

This has always been my favorite song❤ from Anastasia. It's always reminded me of my childhood. I love❤ this song🎶 so much I makes me feel like I'm slow dancing with someone.

Sometimes when I listen to this song I close my eyes and see the ghosts of departed family members surrounding me. Thankfully nobody close has joined them this year because of covid.. Last to join was my dadn in 2014. We still miss you, pop! Probably always will.

It sucks that this version of the song isn't on Spotify.

This versión and the other versión has the operah vocalist it makes me feels like dancing the waltz in the castle with my mom and my sister as well. This or other versión il might played it on my sister quinceñiera when she turns 15, il treat her as a Real Princess
