Never would’ve known how much influence Evanescence would have in this world till this day. I remember back then in 2003 while I was riding in the back seat of my mom's car she played their whole CD album. Every time she played this song, it always made me cry but in a way that touched my heart. Even when I didn’t fully understand complex words, I could tell when something was sad just by the impact of the song. Now that I’m fully grown, hearing the lyrics just added more emotion to it and honestly made me tear up. Damn, this song is so good. Glad that one of the most iconic rock bands is from my hometown as well, Little Rock, AR aka the 501.

My wife of 23 years whom hid an addiction to alcohol until last year 6 days in ICU due to liver failure... I totally understand.

i listen to this song prior to 2021 thinking how powerful the song was. And how the band as a hole were so accomplished. but since my wife passed in, 21, i now realize, the emotional devastating impact it carries with it. And I as well.🥀🖤

Two years ago my world fell apart when my wife sadly passed away. I have played this song, which we had st her funeral. Every day since. Such an emotional song.

One of the most beautiful songs ever written. She looks and sounds like an angel. Love Amy Lee.
