I know her death was not called as a suicide but part of me can’t easily be convinced she didn’t kill herself .... from what I was reading she had mental illness and ..... people with mental illness have highest suicide rates .... especally Bipolar Disorder And Chronic Depression . The song actually helped those of us who had a clue help our friends learn a bit about it via explaining what the video was showing (Irish kids playing innocently and some Brit soldier got confused by their toy weapons and shot one). Sadly stuff like that happened and Thatcher and crew had made it all a whole lot worse.

The song was written in response to the death of Johnathan Ball, 3, and Tim Parry, 12, who had been killed in the IRA bombing in Warrington, northwest England, when two devices hidden in litter bins were detonated. Ball died at the scene of the bombing as a result of his shrapnel-inflicted injuries and, five days later, Parry lost his life as a result of fatal head injuries. 56 others were injured, some seriously. Parry died in his father's arms in Liverpool's Walton hospital. The two boys had gone shopping to buy Mother's Day cards on one of the town's busiest shopping streets. I'm from Cork Ireland 2021. We musnt forget this.

@EuropeDP You say sure as though youre understanding my point yet you follow it up with the flawed logic of “They started it” Im going to be perfectly blunt here , I dont know a damned thing about the conflict between Ireland and Britain. I watched a short youtube video of the history of the IRA which amounted to Britain invaded Ireland in 1916 , IRA grew in popularity around the 70s and the violence peaked in the 90s. So I am sincerely asking why you believe a military invasion 80 years prior justifies the targeting of innocence civilians. Just to clarify I am FULLY supportive of a country taking back their independence through military means, it is your seeming justification of targeting civilians i am questioning.
