During the 90’s, I was into alternative music. But all of the songs with the best lyrics were written and/or sung by women, across all music genres. As such, I absolutely fell in love with this song. … She’s extremely beautiful, so that factored in, as well, of course! … 💝✨

I got to see this pretty lady live at the Santa Clara County Fair in the summer of 1998! She was a great performer and singer, and my 18 year old self got to be right up front! Wow did I ever have a crush on her lol!

I remember this song because the part of the song that goes "there's something missing and we can't deny it" has a melody that matches a part of the Goron theme in Ocarina of Time, a game that came out the same year as this song, so whenever I play through that game, I remember this song.

I loved playing this song with Chuck Jones on Thursday nights, at the Hall of Fame Lounge (Best Western Music Row), in 2007. We didn't play it very often, but, we did play "Count Me In," a lot.
