Almost an entire year of telling him I didn’t feel the same way, until one day I did. And he disappeared after a year and a half… Why couldn’t he just leave me alone? This song was my life years ago when I was married. He was cheating on me horribly and I found out when I called home and my oldest son who was 6 told me daddy can’t come to the phone. He’s with a woman in your bedroom mommy with the door locked. He told me not to bother him. I was humiliated! I tried to keep our family together but then I found him with another woman at 4 in the morning! That was the straw that broke the camels back! Everyone knew but me! So embarrassing!

I’m so heartbroken for the destruction of your family due to others’ carelessness for the best interest of their spouse and children. My ex-husband did the same, except he cheated and left us after I had multiple organ failure. I stood for 5 years. Freedom comes in waves as your heart heals, you forgive as best you can, and the bad memories fade. It is an injustice no matter what and if he tries to take credit when you move on and are happy with someone else, it is in spite of him and his actions, not because of him. Your strength and love will carry you and the kids.
