Official Sierra Nevada Homebrew Recipe with WHC LAX - Is it as good as the stuff in the bottle?

It's homebrew time again!
This time we headed over to the Sierra Nevada website to try out the official homebrew recipe. How does it hold up after all these years? Should you brew it, or should you just go out and buy a few bottles from the shops?

Grt video how do you find not using a hop spider when using hops leaves

Hi Patrick, thanks for watching. We were never a big fan of the hop spider so we use the GF hop plate which works perfect for us.
LAX is the airport code for Los Angeles. So it’s a Californian yeast.

If you want to use Chico why not just use us-05 for about 3.50 a packet?

Because LAX is £2.49 a pack and the origin of the strain for LAX is Chico.
those whc boys in co. wicklow are smashing it with the dried yeast selection.
