The contracts are different though. You can’t terminate players (at least at most clubs), hence why clubs are forced to keep underperforming players and can’t sell them either without the players approval. Maybe they should structure player contracts similar to Manager contracts. Perform well…you stay….perform poorly. Your sacked 🤷🏽‍♂️

Well I think this was always gonna happen. Gary Neville had been saying for a while that he thought they would have stuck with Ole till the end of the season and then reevaluate where they go from there. Gary look, no club of Manchester United's stature is gonna just stick with a manager if he can't prevent his team from getting beat every week for goodness' sake. It doesn't matter if past decisions have failed or not, this is Manchester United we're talking about here, they're not just gonna put up with something that's not working for any longer than necessary.

It's the coaching set up that is the problem. Ole said in an interview that he isn't even the one doing the coaching and training - he's basically just the front of the operation and the coordinator. The real people responsible are Carrick and McKenna and the crazy thing is these two were here since the Jose days, the Ole days and are now going to be here in the next interim days too and beyond

Sitting down here not knowing for sure what the club is doing, yet speaking as though you know everything. How do you know that they haven't contacted someone who is says he is only willing to come at the end of the season.?

The problem at Man United is almost surely in the dressing room. Ronaldo is obviously a great player, but he is arrogant and along with Paul Pogba, I get the impression that the other players are not happy with the change in atmosphere. Yes and no, its the managers job to gain respect of the players and to coach them under a philosophy. Thats something we lacked. We had no identity and nothing to go on. Im not blaming everything on the manager but to say he had nothing to do with what the players are doing on the pitch is just stupid. Once you loose the trust of the players its over. However the players still do have to be proffesional and play for the badge but between the owners not giving a shit about how the players and fans feel will have a massive affect to. We are a mess rn and we have to get rid of some deadwood and get staff that are passionate, care and actually know what they are doing.

Football, like any other soap opera... needs storylines. Don't know why people mention zidane is oles replacement. Appointing Zidane will continue to drag utd back. I understand people say zidane cos what he did at Madrid. But he is not a manager fit for the current situation at utd.utd needs a more qualified person like klopp, pep, etc

Look at Liverpool last season how poor they were because Van Dijk was out. So Ole is not 100% responsible -of course, he made much poor judgment in terms of line up for example not playing Van De Beek instead of useless Fred also not giving Henderson a chance with low-tier team.
