Jose was sacked because he wanted to be. If you think it’s ok to criticise your team, saying they’re not good enough, before a ball is even kicked in the season, then you’re pretty clueless. Jose threw his toys out the pram and put himself ahead of the players and the club. He was making excuses and moaning to make it clear it wasn’t his fault. It doesn’t matter what goes on behind the scenes, you keep it private, and you always back your players and divert attention from them, onto yourself. It had nothing to do with his technical ability.

In football you don’t really need to be an expert to see things which are as clear as day. When you play with a back 3, wingbacks are one of your greatest weapons going forward. Alex Telles and Dalot are tailor-made for the role. Yet OGS sticks with AWB on the right and Shaw on the left. Your double pivot needs to be solid with two dynamic midfielders, which Mcfred clearly isn’t…these are basics for heaven’s sake.

When I speak to fans of different clubs they are actually excited, like me the last few times we've played and won at united. He can say whatever he wants about player DNA, but ultimately, it's on the manager to get his players to exude and adopt that DNA. If a player still falls short, then why is the manager continuing to select them? I'm sorry, but this is not the season to be that critical of players, it's the season where we are suppose to judge the manager's ability to turn the team into a title winning one. Red cards, Handballs, Penalties, Own Goals... that's just all part of the game and should be less detrimental to how the team plays over the 90 minutes, as a collective and cohesive unit.

I think it’s a mix of both, as useless as OGS is the players just don’t have the same desire as the top 3 teams. Take the first goal for example, Bruno not even making an attempt to block Cancelo’s cross. That’s something basic that the player has to find within him, you can’t solely blame the manager

Guess I’m one of the few who don’t think Ole is 100% at fault here. Mourinho coached this team and said 2nd place with them was his greatest achievement. Should speak for itself. United from the back line to midfield lack that quality on the ball compared to other teams with more dominant midfield. Fred and Mctominay just don’t cut it compared to players like Rodri and Kante who allow players like De Britney to play more freely and cover their defensive weaknesses.

Most of them would be transfer listed even though they would want to be transferred themselves due to the sheer terror of Keane being manager!

Shaw, Maguire, De Gea and Pogba are permanently on Keane’s hit list 😂 Fred seems to be making a case to join them

Ole made friends with the players , he is friends with the old players and the board if at the end of the season they get fourth they will all be happy.Mourinho wants to win and has no patience for players who have little or no professional disciple.

Mctominay is learning his trade, he’ll be 25 next month. The guy is older than rashford and Donny but still learning lol. Pogba came at a younger age and was criticised from the word go.

I LOVE ROY KEANE! Finally, somebody willing to express the truth. Every word was SPOT ON. This should have been 5 or 6 - 0 were it not for De Gea. This team is BAD. Ole OUT. Now. Without Ronaldo, they'd be in Europa right now. This team is bad.

Those still backing Ole think he will turn into Fergie if he goes through this rough patch with the club. It may be a huge mistake if the club continues with him, his technical staff and talk of Man utd 'DNA'.

Keane reached the point I've been at for 2 years. I'm just enjoying the banter at this point, almost like a neutral.

Imagine a prime Keane in this United team . He'd probably have 3-4 key passes per game. 89% of his passes would be forward and his accuracy about 92% . That's the standard we need to aspire to . Mcfred ain't getting nowhere near this x

As a United fan many need to realise there’s a difference between positivity and delusion. Supporting Ole is delusion. I love the bloke but he’s clearly out of his depth. He isn’t the only problem at the club but he needs to go.

You are absolutely right. I have been called plastic before for suggesting that Ole isn't good enough for this job. The biggest issue is the owners. I have no confidence in their ability to make right decisions. There's no plan or vision.

You want an example of good management? Chilwell came back from Euros and Tuchel only played him when Alonso's form dropped, therefore letting him rest whilst not losing the quality of the team

Good point from Keane; it's a derby game yet there was no fight. Both " derby's " involving United have been a drab in recent years. Compare that to the North London derby which never disappoints.

Man Utd looked absolutely jaded in the second half. No belief, no effort. Crystal Palace showed the blueprint for improvement and progress last weekend - run, put yourself about and hunt the ball down. Man Utd used to be the best at this.

I just love listening to Keano on Sky Sports. He’s funny and absolutely spot on 👌 “I might just go and smash into somebody” 😂

I missed the game caused i slept off and i so much dread watching the highlights. I will, someday though when everything looks better again

I have a lot of respect for Keane he wore his heart on his sleeve and loves the club I think some of them live in the past from when they was a top class team if ole hadn’t been a player he’d of been out months ago, city fan btw

That last bit, you’d be surprised. The Glazers won’t pull the trigger unless it’s actively costing the club money. (IE not making CL). I’d be surprised if he’s sacked before it’s nigh impossible for us to make Top 4.

Respect Ole, he need more time, like 10 more years. He represents the ESSENCE of United. He's the future, the cornerstone of that club. Ole is and will be on the wheel.
