Not embarrassing. Arsenal fans would do the same thing. If they tell you any different they are lying. As long as, the players performed on the day, I had no problem with them losing. The same situation happened between Roma and Lazio therefore this scenario isn’t unusual. The only reason why it is a big deal is due to social media making a deal about it.

Cultural change is a big big issue with a club where there fans want to lose a game because off a rivalry. Ange is the man for job and will learn ALOT from his FIRST year in charge. Young squad he’s doing a great job at an evolving young team. Must be left awake at night dreaming for a front three that can finish and midfielders who can deliver the cutting edge passes.

You mean the game where Spurs came back and won 4 -3 at City's backyard. You guys look at the past with tinted glasses. Conte beat City at their own game. Poch beat City, Mourinho played City three times and beat them twice, Conte beat City. City has always been Spur's boggy team, yet this season City registered their first and second win at The Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Yet you guys are here celebrating controling the game. Who cares about control when you can't win the game? Spurs controlled the game against Arsenal and yet the gooners walked away with the points.Just like Ange said, it's about winning, what's this celebrating control. You do realise some teams can let you have control as part of their strategy. Funny how none of you are complaining about the last five defeats and the lack of control Spurs had in those games. Yet, you are here celebrating controlling a game against a team that hardly shifted out of 3rd gear.

@@bisonkambaine5628 It’s the style of play that I’m celebrating and the potential of the team. I trust that Ange will change the attitude of the team to play with the courage to drive forward and find plays. Watching Conte ball was the most excruciatingly painful thing I’ve had to do and if that’s your thing, then okay, enjoy. Placing 4th or placing 5th doesn’t matter to me as much as seeing our players move with conviction. I’m fine with losing to City, it’s a rebuild. Mourinho ball was fun to watch the quick counters, Conte ball was just back passes and side passes, no way through and no attempt at making anything happen because everything was a risk. I wasn’t a fan. I’m happier with our current Spurs than the past, that’s what I’m celebrating

@wsupwitit - Mate, that's what I mean by people like you regurgitating the media narrative. Under Conte, Spurs registered more goals and conceded two less than this time last year before he was sacked. If you deduct the 6 goals Newcastle scored, its even less since he wasn't managing the side at that time. Like I said, you've been sold a narrative. Jose's Spurs was the second team in Europe to register 100 goals behind Bayern Munich. Both these managers beat City something Ange hasn't been able to do. As for celebrating the style of play, where was the style of play for the past five games? You seem yo conviently dodge that question. On what basis can you even suggest Ange will be a success when history dictates otherwise. 20 managers in 23yrs and only one has delivered a trophy. Its nothing more than wishful thinking. Ange is nothing more than a media darling that will blow hot and cold just like the previous 6 games have shown. As for a "rebuild" 80 per cent of rebuilds fail hence the reason most managers get sacked. Which manager has survived a rebuild? 19 rebuilds under Levy have failed catastrophically. Yet you plp think Ange has a magic stick. I have nothing against Ange, but you guys that have drunk the koolaid without looking at what's been wrong in the past are the real problem. I will end it here and let's see where we are next season. I hope I am wrong, but judging by his body language and the way Levy operates, he will find himself out of depth xmas.

Yeah because grabbing 4th would've changed the summer plans? No it wouldn't have, Ange just said his summer plans haven't changed. It's non-sense media driven sensationalism at it's finest and the media constantly bashing Spurs. Even Tifo IRL talk down about spurs when they do an episode about them as if Tottenham has hurt peoples feelings. I get it most people don't have a Jewish majority fanbase to win anything, but piss off if you think we'll let Arsenal win a league title and rub it in our faces when Arsenal in 1916 got us relegated and they got promoted. You know how that happened? I'll tell you the chairman of Arsenal at the time paid off other clubs so they would get promotion and ever since then it's been bad blood. I doubt you would see big Ange give a Turk any love or sympathy because Greeks and Turks have a deep hatred of each other going back thousands of years.

Since supporting this club, I have been conditioned to take the small wins where you can, big wins (trophies) aren't coming. Thats not how I want it to be, but thats what supporting Spurs currently is. But if this team starts winning big things, fans would crave for the trophies not just trying to make sure our rivals don't win the league. Ange is right, foundations are weak, mentality of fans (as well as staff and players it seems), is currently finding the small wins. After this interview lots of minds will be changed. Ange is perfect for us. A cultural and mental strengthening is necessary for us to be a winning team in the future.

Ask any true Spurs fan "Would you give up a Champions League spot, if it meant Arsenal wouldn't win the league?" And they'd all say yes. It would be the same for other rivalries between other clubs. The Tottenham /Arsenal rivalry is arguably the biggest in England. People seem to forget Chelsea players were telling the press they' throw the Leicester game if they got beat by Tottenham, so Leciester would win the title, and not Tottenham. The literal players were saying that. Rivalry will do strange things to fans. Ange has a right to be upset, but he's been at Tottenham for a year. He doesn't understand the hatred we have for those cheaters in red. Even if he did, ofcourse he wouldn't advocate for his tram to lose a game.

I couldn’t give a toss about the Woolwich or anyone else for that matter, we need to focus on our club, wanting us to lose is pathetic and totally the wrong mindset. Do not underestimate Ange's willingness to leave at the end of the season. He would consider the fan's behaviour as toxic, and entrenched. He will see that they are not on the same page, and this is a big thing for him. He left the Australian coaching job straight after qualifying them for the World Cup. Not many managers would do this. His job wasn't under pressure. He felt that the hierarchy in Australian football didn't have the same beliefs as him. At Tottenham, he believes the fan base is the most important component, and if they don't have the same beliefs then he'll go. He has plenty of money, he's had his opportunity to manage in the PL, and most likely he'll get a job very quickly. He will not compromise on his principles. Don't be surprised if you wake up in the next couple of weeks, and see in the news that he has resigned.

I get that Ange is angry and so he should be, but his has enough time to modify tactics to try win such games, and after Kane left I knew we would fall short going forward so a CF was a must at January but we were told we didn't need one. These players have let us down time and again and Ange keeps playing them and persists with same tactics, lets hope next season things are sorted out and we have a balanced squad. I wanted to win and would never cheer another team on, but also happy the ARSE won't win the league....COYS !!!
