  Patience- I don’t hold out for trophy’s otherwise I couldn’t enjoy watching spurs - when it happens we can finally lift the albatross of a bird of our backs and see the fighting cockerel rise whilst ending a running joke that’s gone on too long

  Yes no thanks to odoi & I must add timo too. We must bring in top quality players that can walk in straight into first team. The buying & keeping them on the bench & or loaned out got to stop. If not we will continue to hear excuses like always in the past. 😏

  I much prefer reflective Josh, over reactive Josh. I think his new Zen approach on Ange and the project is spot on. We really need a robust creative in the midfield, it's a real worry that our existing three creatives are all injury prone, when they are so crucial in the system and a european campaign and deep cup runs to negotiate.

  Paul merson needs to shut his mouth fr. Didnt his own team lost to fulham...so how about worry about your club mate. On a sidenote how depressing of me being fan of teams who just forgets how to win a trophy 💔😔

  Covering Timo’s contractual obligations is good biz , although as 95 percent of all goals come from a relatively small strike zone in front of goal ,best get someone who can handle the job . We need to be challenging and that translates into spend more money on the best players .

  G'day Chris. Have been a new fan of yours since following Ange to Spurs. Appreciate your balanced analyses of all things Spurs and football (round ball version!) And here we have Josh Hughes, well spoken, well thought out comments and analyses, another Chris Cowlin, so to speak! You can safely conclude from my comments so far that my knowledge of football generally equates to following Ange's exploits over the past 26 years or however long he's been coaching. In my humble opinion, I believe that even as a "new arrival" in Australia, his passion for football, as a winner, was not just attributable to his upbringing and support from his Pa, but also the "Aussie Never say Die" attitude, although not stooping to cheating. This attitude characterises Aussies in all walks of life, especially in their fighting men and women. The achievement of winning the end of season trophy rates higher than ending top of the table. There are countless examples of champion teams achieving this in Australia. So, with respect and purely as an ordinary bloke who does not follow football as passionately as the AFL or NRL in Australia, that's what makes Ange the coach and man he is. He'll never settle for anything without winning trophies! But stating the obvious, he needs time.
