Hi Fran & Rich It’s Phil here from Glass Roots Cornwall. Wow thank you for the mention. Well chuffed. It was a pleasure to meet you both at Crick. As for the glass, it can also live outside as well as being inside. (Gives you more options) Loving your garden! Philip & Emma
Eggs and chokolade sounds like the start of a new baking session I guess, chokolade cake is fantastic.
I think I've commented before, but I'm going to comment again, I absolutely love your choice of music ❤

Love when a Plan comes together :)
I am just smiling thank you.
Good to see you again
Your videos have the canals, life with its ups and downs and history of where you are. Seeing the countryside as you walk on errands or sightseeing brings out more of England. One thing that is here on your walk , and it has been in others , is the path goes across private lands and public with full right of way. Here in the US, we would have to go around . All the best, Hal

Hi Hal. Glad you are enjoying the videos. We are very lucky to have a network of public footpaths all across the country giving us access to walk through farmland.
I know it is a bit old news for y'all but I am glad that Jess is responding to the meds well. I'm always appreciative of what ever number and kinds of videos you do but I wouldn't mind some more foraging and cooking with Fran segments :)

I love the" before and after" glimpses of your plot. A beautiful spot to begin with, and your sweet patio garden is a just-right addition. And good to see Jess prancing along. You two add to the beauty of the world with your warm personalities, your shared appreciation of the natural world, and your artistry. Your videos are a welcome balm in difficult times.

Thanks for the walk with you. Just love your vlog thanks again 😊
Hi - Your glass gift - Why not frame it with Oak into a kind of shallow box (1" deep), put an "LED light cable" (very thin strip light) right around inside in a routed groove, then plug it into 12v and you will have a lovely wall light. Another thing....Don't be envious of electric narrow boats, because part of the joy of the narrow boat is the chugging diesel, and may I say the older the engine, the better it sounds! Also, near tight corners the other boat can hear you coming. Or if you buy an electric boat, get yourself a fog horn!! I like your boat, it is a work of art too!! Lovely! All the best John

Nice idea about the glass John. Also I tend to agree about the engine noise. I love the chug of an old engine and just like electric cars, it is not always good if you cant hear them.
Beautiful views!
I so enjoyed this vlog. You packed a lot of stuff in it. I wasn't sure about how your new lifestyle would translate to a vlog, but...CONGRATULATIONS!..it's absolutely riveting. Thanks as always. I love your garden. I love the foraging. I love your lifestyle.
I agree please more recipes from Fran. I know she only does one once in a while but inso enjoy seeing her recipes too! Even when she shows her making lunch or dinner or something. I love that so much! And I know many others do too. So nice to get meal ideas from other people 🥰🏴 love from Scotland. Such a lovely couple. ❤

We are so sad. Sad because your video's are far too short. We could sit and watch your walks up and down the Pennines, to the farm. Seeing what is behind each little door 🤔 What a fun adventure - will there be eggs, will there be chocolate? It's so good to see Jess romping around and having a good time sniffing here and there. I think I need the same medication so I could romp around, too. 😂 Can you imagine, wild raspberry bushes and strawberries, too. What marvelous jam is in store for Christmas giving and stocking up the cupboard. I had to laugh when Rich said, 'of an age'. You two can't be nearly as old as we are. We're in our middle to late 70s and dream of being able to walk the miles you both have traveled. 🙌🏼 Fingers crossed next time you'll share what is happening in and around your garden. Be well, take care and keep filming ~ love & hugs, Lacy, Mike & Hamish🐾
Oh my goodness, beautiful. Because of illness/caretaking, my husband & I can't really travel. We live in a city (albeit with a garden), but we're both from small towns originally. So many of your videos are like walks we would have taken... noseabouts we would have enjoyed. Just lovely, really.

Sorry to hear that, I hope our videos bring back some happy memories for you
More videos of you two foraging, cooking, gardening and a bit of travel. I follow a few Narrowboats and when they stop videos I have to remove them from my great canal maps. You were still hanging on I was waiting to see if you left too. So happy to see you back on. They only thing I bet Fran would like added is a bath tub.
Hello! I am the same!! I get it people overload and yes I understand when you have a quieter life. I am like that after people days, I have to have a quiet me only day and yes "neutral" I agree with others more videos would be lovely IF you would like! So lovely to see you again. Go Haven Locks! I love Laura Masie the best but nice additions on the new ones
It's over already? I could watch you two all day! Rich, I hope your ankle heals up for you, and Fran, I'll be watching closely for your " hunting/gathering", as my dad called it, videos. I love natures' sweet, sweet bounty. Oh, and I'm glad Jess is doing better. I think I'll watch it again. Take care. xx

One reason i bought this house...it had a nice sized bed of rhubarb. Lol..loved the field/ nature shots . Reminded me of days gone by whenvi didnt look for every garden weed etc. By the way as far as the ankle Rich , come up with your own exercises and stretches fir your ankle. It will be worth it. When i hurt my knee i went to therapy and didnt get any exercises from any of the people there that helped. So i made up my own that looked like i was going to go downhill skying and they worked. I have been trying to remind myself to do them thru the years and bpno more problems and its been almost 45 years.

You missed a trick should have had a bag and cleaned that manure up of the stile for the Rhubarb 👍👍👍I know exactly what you mean about looking at boats at Crick when you have one of your own The only one we went on was the Morning star 2 just because I watch the vlogs
You could make a summer pudding with the fruits you gather.

Thanks for this great update, your little plot mooring looks lovely and your visit to Crick looked really good. Yeh , Rich, take some omega 3 fish oil supplements or eat lots of oily fish to help your joint/tendon problems and I have broken my left ankle which isn't too bad but my right one struggles after "spraining" it more than once. I'm glad that little Jess is doing well and I hope that you are all doing well and having a great time in this lovely sunny weather. Take care and all the best. Stevie

Thanks for taking us on your lovely walk. The garden already looking terrific 🌟🌟 joan
What a lovely boat that was. I loved the not having curtains just the pull out boards/ blinds at windows the wood finish was just lovely. It was a fabulous view it looked amazing. Hope your foot is ok Rich. Love watching your vlogs xx
I thought Jess was looking much better and that's such good news!
Yes you have landed in paradise. Thanks and take care =-)
Your guys are awesome, glad you are back to the simple life.
Fabulous video as always. Love your sweet peas, I always plant those too. What a peaceful countryside walk to get your eggs Fran. Look forward to seeing your garden grow. ❤
WE miss you! We'd rather see a video of you weeding the garden than not see you at all...
As always a bright spot in the week. Another wonderful look into the perfect way to live.
It’s always nice to get home to your own comforts. Your coal scuttle with the little shovel is adorable. Farm fresh eggs are the best find these days and they usually have a richness often missing in eggs now. Poached egg on a toasted crumpet for breakfast. 😋

For you ankle think about a elastic foot/ankle sock, just to give it a bit of support. Take it with you on your walks and put it on if ankle starts to play up. Don't wear it all the time.

Hi another great vlog Rich many years ago I was running and fell over and I pulled a tendent in my shoulder the pain was unbelievable and the doctor said it would have been better if I had broken it as it would heal muck faster keep safe and well cheers Barry Victoria Australia 🇦🇺
No RICH! you do not want a break as they love putting metal plants in and in the heat and change of weather people having an awful time with pain and discomfort. I hear you thou I did my ankle and I have my wrist and its a nightmare long time, just lots of arnica cream 4 times a day & strap up for weeks and lots of stretching. One of the best things I did Rich at the time I was swapping my Full Body Reiki for a full body massage with a friend who had reflexology etc, maybe try and get a serious of massages and they can focus on it and loosen scar tissue that's the big problem also they can give you stretches and exercise. I have no problems now. I am 61 so similar age. *Also you get compensation on your other side from protecting the injured side highly recommend some full body massages, 3 is good to help the whole body back on track. Wishing you swift healing.

I’ve honestly missed you two. Been wondering how you’re getting on! Wow veggies and flowers growing a treat. X❤ Sending love Lisa xx

Very relaxing and unbeatable countryside. Just let all those stresses flow away.
I could almost smell that muck through the phone 😂. How delightful was the farmers tuck box and egg pantry. Great idea. I was waiting to see what your stash was😅. Enjoy your week xx
I just had rhubarb from my garden, made cake and stewed some with ice cream (made for my friends 85th year today) ...just love it. I also give some away each year along with plants. Also, my neighbour has chickens that free range on our property, so we get free eggs. I so enjoy your vlog and music...thank you🇨🇦

It is always a breath of fresh air to see the two of you. I am delighted to see Jess doing so well. I actually did break my ankle many years ago and it was no picnic (plate and 8 screws). While that was a lovely gesture to gift you the plant, I must confess that years ago when I grew up on my stepfather's farm, rhubarb grew all over the place. Perhaps it was my stepsister's method of preparing it, but to this day I'd rather gnaw off my arm than ever eat it again. Leigh
